@alectranews There is going to be a snow storm with freezing rain Wednesday. This is not good timing. You’ve had 2 weeks of little snow falling. We now have appliances flashing errors thinking the machines are defective.

We’re working 24/7 to clean the lines to prevent further outages, but there is a risk of more issues over the next few days. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this issue as quickly as we can.

@RayDeutschbein @MandelRobin Warmer weather & salt buildup has led to insulator tracking on assets close to roadways/highways. We’ve had insulator-washing crews working throughout the weekend to help mitigate outages; however some of you have been experiencing intermittent outages as a result.

The northward shift of the heavier precipitation continues on the latest GFS. Now bringing widespread 20-30cm totals for much of the GTA. With the cold air in place, ratios will be 15:1 or even 20:1. Lake enhancement could push amounts as high as 35cm locally.
