He left the Marines to be a Labour candidate- which according to Wikipedia was surprising since he had previously been a Tory supporter.
An illustrious military career is hardly sufficient experience to be a serious leadership candidate.

He had a brief but quite impressive military career.
It surprises me he’s accepted the job as Defence of Secretary considering the devastating impact on the military due to lack of funding from the Labour Government he supports.
However, I suppose in the short term he’ll have draw on his previous military career to caretaker our Armed Forces until we get a decent Government in power.

1st, 2nd & 3rd generation immigrants SHOULD NOT hold top tier government positions! Our great nation, our culture and our great people are not naturally at the forefront of their hearts & minds! It’s just not in their nature or DNA! Patriotism can not be taught or bought and needs to run through the veins of those at the very top to ensure our country and our peoples needs and demands are not only understood but prioritised. Khan is a prime example of this and as witnessed over time his true alliances have come out and his innate nature and culture naturally surfaces and takes precedent! (Which we all know is very un-british). Our Capital City of our Christian country needs to be run by a native Brit with generational Christian values, principles and morals coursing through their veins from which our very society was built, thrived and was forged upon. 🫡🇬🇧 Look what has happened since we stopped this practice! #asteadydecline

Ant Middleton is an unrepentant racist who doesn’t think I should be allowed to serve in Government because of my heritage, despite having been born here. He doesn’t think Zia Yusuf should be allowed to either.
He’s also a violent thug who served a prison sentence after being convicted of assaulting two police officers.
Hardly a surprise then to see Rob Kenyon endorsed by one of his “heroes” in Makerfield, so desperate are Reform to stop haemorrhaging support to Restore Britain.

First the Defence Secretary resigned saying the government is making the country and our troops less safe. Then the Veterans Minister went, saying the government is abandoning our veterans and it’s harming our national defence. It’s clear the armed forces have lost all faith in Keir Starmer. A Prime Minister who cannot command the respect of our military cannot continue in office. Britain’s national security must come before Keir Starmer’s ego. The Prime Minister’s time is up.
