There's a new neighborhood. Entirely new houses with a new zip code. The realtors have them priced at $52k At that price, I'm tempted to buy one for investment. Thoughts? You see... my past savings can't keep up with the price of goods. So I need a better way. But turns out, the builders made only 21 million of these homes. That's it! I bet this house will be 10x this price in the not-too-distant future. Some of the early buyers have already lost their house title and keys, and will never be able to access their property. So really, there are more like 16M houses available. Furthermore, some of the current owners don't plan on selling any time soon, if at all. So I expect these houses to be extremely scarce (i.e., valuable). I'm just not sure I should turn to real estate because I don't want to be a landlord. I don't want to deal with toilets, tenants, trash, and taxes.

Ein paar Gedanken zu #Habeck auf der Fähre: Ich bin gegen jegliche Nötigung und das Überschreiten roter Grenzen, finde es allerdings einigermaßen interessant, wenn es so dargestellt wird, dass die Menschen, die ihre Wut und Verzweiflung über die derzeitige Politik an die entsprechenden Politiker adressieren, sich undemokratischer Mitteln bedienen würden. Woraus resultieren denn solche Auswüchse? Wie kommt es dazu, dass selbst der bequeme, ängstliche Deutsche mittlerweile immer öfter die Schnauze voll hat und seinen Unmut offen herauslässt? Resultieren sie nicht aus eben jenem Gefühl, dass es langsam keinen „demokratischen“ Weg mehr gibt, um eine Änderung der aktuellen politischen Zustände herbeizuführen? Seit Jahren kann man hier in Deutschland, abseits der AfD, wählen was man will. Es macht keinen Unterschied. Es spielt keine Rolle, ob ich SPD, Linke, CDU, FDP oder Grüne wähle…am Ende bekomme ich immer grüne Politik. In der Migration, dem woken Scheiß, in Bezug auf Steuern und Abgaben, Klimapolitik und einen ausufernden Sozialstaat. Hand auf‘s Herz: Könnt ihr euch erinnern, wann das letzte Mal etwas in der Politik entschieden wurde, was nicht entschieden gegen eure Interessen lief und euch direkt oder indirekt schadet? Ich nicht. Es werden Versprechen gebrochen, es wird verarscht und wenn man die Quittung für seine Politik in den Umfragewerten bekommt, löst man das Problem, indem man die AfD verbieten will. War selbst bei der #Bundeswehr im Transport-Bataillon 270 in Nürnberg. Habe dort auch den LKW-Führerschein gemacht. Wir müssen die Bundeswehr endlich massiv stärken. Es geht um die #Sicherheit und #Freiheit #Deutschland|s in schwierigen Zeiten. Die Aussetzung der #Wehrpflicht war aus heutiger Sicht ein Fehler. Das ist nicht einfach zu korrigieren. Das Argument war damals, dass wir in Europa keine Bedrohung mehr haben. Das ist jetzt anders. Bei wachsender Bedrohungslage macht die Wiedereinführung der Wehrpflicht Sinn. Dies geht nicht über Nacht. Wir reden über eine Umsetzung in einem Zeitraum von frühestens fünf Jahren, um die notwendigen Strukturen anzupassen. Um eine vernünftige Grundausbildung zu gewährleisten, sollte diese mindestens sieben Monate dauern. Mit dem Grundwehrdienst würden wir auch die Bindung junger Menschen an Staat und Gesellschaft stärken. Bei dem Grundwehrdienst bekommt jeder junge Mann einen Einblick in die Strukturen der Bundeswehr und die Handhabung von Waffen. Da dies erst für die Zukunft gilt, sollten wir aber jetzt schon den freiwilligen Wehrdienst stärken. Damit können wir sofort anfangen. Das bisherige Angebot ist nicht attraktiv genug. Alle, die freiwillig ein Jahr dienen, sollten einen Bonus erhalten: zum Beispiel die Reduzierung des Numerus Clausus fürs Studium, den Erlass von Praxissemestern oder eine Verkürzung der Ausbildungszeit. Außerdem sollte der Dienst besser alimentiert werden. All das muss natürlich auch bei einem Grundwehrdienst gelten.

In 1989, in the small village of Miyakoji, Japan, primary school teacher Yumi Tanaka made a peculiar discovery as she looked into the toilet bowl – a floating black shoe. Investigating further, she found a man's body in the sewer tank outside. The body was removed and found to be in an unusual position, somehow the man managed to squeeze through the 14" diameter septic opening. It was later determined that he had entered the waste tank, likely attempting to peer up the toilet when women were using it. After meticulous cleaning, the body was identified as 26-year-old Naoyuki Kanno. He likely passed away from hypothermia.
