@Birdsofpera DC is making projects when scripts are done. A Deathstroke and Bane project is further in development and deserves to be made. Had just as much potential as a Batman movie.

Great actor, great scenes but not a whole lot to link it together and make it cohesive given he has no character arc and makes a last minute unplanned exit. A real shame, Ncuti Gatwa deserved better than that.

@MixedOfTheNight -how we end up with the era we’ve just had. If the show took itself more seriously it would have a much better reputation than the one it currently has which arguably hasn’t been this bad since the 80s

Realistically there’s no good episode to start that series on. SB and TDC are too silly to take seriously, Boom is too heavy, 73 and DaB don’t have the two of them in, and Rogue would be too soon for a Doctor love interest, but maybe the easiest starting point.

I still attest that 'Space Babies' is an okay episode. It's just fine. But as a *Season Opener*? Really bad move. 'Doctor Who' can do weird, zany stuff but I don't think you should open with it during a worldwide relaunch. Opening Season 1 with 'Boom'? That's the smarter play.

@ProductionsJAW I read it. But in your eyes the show should chase an audience that's never gonna care about it long term. It's inherently silly every episode is to a degree ridiculous. Playing it safe as to not upset the normies just results in a boring show.

His mission statement as the "healed" Doctor vanished.
He had unaddressed narcissistic traits.
He never met Susan. No Daleks.
He shared his introduction with David Tennant.

@MixedOfTheNight -argue people generally prefer the more serious stuff, no? No one’s ever out there saying how Space Babies, or The Lodger, or New Earth is their favourite episode. They have their place, but they’re not what I’d say most people come to the show for.

@MixedOfTheNight @beeeeeeaan There was a whole plot line with Susan and alt ending to s15 we never saw because the disney deal didn't get renewed. That's the cancelled plot. And RTD did have power over it because he wrote an arc that was dependent on renewal that wasn't guaranteed.

@Erdenetkulkanfc How would him facing daleks or Cybermen improve his era or Doctor. Matt Smith doesn't have a good story for either of those villains and he's still a good Doctor.

He was an amazing Doctor. His companions were great too, the only bad thing was the writing and the fact that two seasons were wasted on the unnecessary Pantheon storyline. He could’ve faced the Master, the Daleks or the Cybermen instead. He definitely deserved a third season
