APOLOGIZE TO THIS GAME RIGHT NOW YES IT WAS UNORIGINAL AND TOOK A LOT FROM STAR FOX 64 BUT AT THE VERY LEAST IT DIDN'T COPY AND PASTE 1:1 LEVEL LAYOUTS DOWN TO SHEER PERFECT IMITATION AT LEAST IT TRIED SOME NEW INTERESTING THINGS AND WAS SUPER FUN ONCE YOU GOT THE HANG OF IT

@Mole_Tech_ @ManaByte They'll release the newer games in 2027 up to 2029. There's the new Mario in 2027 (leaks) and Zelda Switch 2 will break records again. Xenoblade Chronicles 4 will be released as well. Just give the devs good time for their development or do you want halfassed games?

If 2026 includes Star Fox, a Super Metroid remake, and an Ocarina of Time remake; the Switch 2 will have new versions of three of the greatest video games ever made in its second year.

@DracoDHFD @pinasimp Multiplayer is literally the only selling point for me as its was very light in the original. I've played that single player to death so there's nothing new for me.

@Mole_Tech_ @pinasimp I mean the multiplayer is huge. Has huge potential for esports and to get new eyes on the series, and the story missions have multiple replay factors and challenges which is neat for the 100% completion grinders

@VideoGamesXlife @NathanielKristo @RGT_85 Zero is a reboot of the franchise and not a specific remake of 64, the levels are completely different. The new (well not new) game just announced is a remake of 64.

So yes a little different design but still the same time line. Thats why people dont want this latest remake. Give us a new time line with new planets.

@RGT_85 Star Fox has had three games announced since 2011. All three are Star Fox 64 Remakes.

Some of these Nintendo "fans" are insufferable. You don't like Star Fox, ok cool. But how you gonna bitch about a game, in 2026, revealed/dropping in less than 2 months, that looks great, added cool online multiplayer, challenge mode, and is $50. You spend that on 1 amiibo you dorks.

@pinasimp 64 was not a remake of the Snes original, it's just another entry in the francise canon or not. There are similar elements but the game and levels are completely different.

I need people to recognize that Star Fox is trying it's best to Star Fox 64 Star Fox 64 64 was a remake of the original game, but with more depth, more story, and more replayability That's literally what Star Fox is trying to do. Its trying to give you an improved version

@Mole_Tech_ @pinasimp Yes and that is fair but it’s still part of the discussion since there was never any proof of this game until yesterday and both were part of the same leak and nobody seems to be even remotely considering that.

@wayneisboss Totally with you. I really want to be excited but I've played 64 to death so there really isn't anything new here for me. The OOT remake needs to have a decent amount of new content or have an expansion of that Hyrule, otherwise it'll just be a waste of time.

Maaan I want to be excited about a new Star Fox release but I've already played this damn game...like a LOT. At this point I'm not believing the constant attempts at capturing a new audience is actually going anywhere And the Ocarina of Time remake nonsense is true, isn't it? 😭

I love how EVERYWHERE I look, it’s nothing but Star Fox. I’m so happy! Here’s to this game being a strong, new launching pad for the series going forward.

@PlayerEssence @RGT_85 Voicing my opinion on public media. Problem is too many people like yourself are happy to except remake after remake after remake which slows down anything new being made. I bet you'll be first in line to get the OOT remake that will be exactly the same game again.
