@PastorMhimhi @luxemiaa If he's not hungry then no one needs a sandwich. More likely the son told his dad he wanted something to eat and dad decided neither he nor his son had to prepare food so tried to make his daughter serve his son. Setting a very bad precedent and showing bias and favoritism.

@luxemiaa Girl, I am HERE. FOR. IT. Your ex's comment is wild, like, what even is that? You're teaching your daughter to set boundaries and your son to be self-sufficient – that's the way to go!

My mother never made my brother a single sandwich after he turned ten. I didn't understand it then. I'd watch her point at the kitchen and say, "You have two hands and you know where the bread is." He'd grumble. She wouldn't budge. Meanwhile, my friend's house was different. She was the oldest of three boys. Every meal, every snack, every drink—she fetched it. Her mom called it "being helpful." Her dad called it "being a good sister." My friend called it normal. Until it wasn't. We were sixteen when my friend started dating a boy who expected her to carry his bags, order his food, clean up after him at lunch. She did it without question. When I asked her why, she looked confused. "That's just what you do," she said. I thought about my mother. The bread. The two hands. The refusal to raise a daughter who served and a son who sat. At eighteen, I dated a guy who asked me to make him a plate at a family cookout while he played video games with his cousins. His own mother had made the food. It was ten feet away. He had working legs. I heard my mom's voice in my head: "You have two hands." I said, "The food's right there. You can make your own plate." He looked at me like I'd insulted his entire bloodline. We didn't last another month. At twenty-four, I married a man who makes his own sandwiches. Makes mine too sometimes. Not because I demanded it—but because he was raised to be capable, not catered to. My friend married at twenty-two. Divorced by twenty-five. She told me once, through tears, that she'd spent three years being his "mother, maid, and manager" and couldn't do it anymore. "I don't know how I got here," she said. But I knew. It started with sandwiches. With "be nice." With small asks that became big expectations. With the lie that serving men is what good women do. My mother wasn't harsh. She was wise. She taught my brother that capable men don't lean on women for things they can do themselves. And she taught me that kindness and servitude are not the same thing. One lesson. Two kids. A lifetime of clarity. Some mothers raise daughters to be helpful and sons to be served. Mine raised us both to be whole. 💯

Does "make him a sandwich, if he can do it himself" love🤔 Being nice to each other, means they are doing their own things themselves and helping when need! Means that this "Father" doesn't love none of them- as a father he has the responsibility to feed them/ make him sandwich (if so), not to pass the responsibility to his daughter!!! 🤦🤦🤦🤦

This week's Xbox Showcase added many games to Game Pass, and most of the titles were also announced to support xCloud and XPA. Additionally, Xbox has been simultaneously supporting XPA and Xbox Cloud for numerous games, including Crimson Desert. PlayStation has simply raised console prices. Xbox provides an environment where you can play games even without owning a console. PlayStation doesn't offer that and has only increased prices...

Crimson deserts biggest flaw is not being amazing in the first 5 mins to hook for a lot of people. But sticking with it is definitely the way. I seriously cant put it down.

LMAO when you tried to call out the fact that this game just looked like a buncha structureless random activities people called you a hater and contrarian. All it took to convince yall was a Jetpack, An RKO, and big ass empty map. I been gaming long enough to know.

I was at Walmart earlier and I swear those employees with the big Spark shopping carts that go around picking items for online orders are constantly in the way. One of them had their cart parked sideways across the aisle while they were scanning items, and everyone else had to literally squeeze by just to get through. It amazes me how some people can have zero awareness of the customers around them. The store is already crowded and instead of moving their cart to the side, they just leave it wherever they feel like. At some point that stops being ‘doing your job’ and just turns into bad customer service. Honestly I’m probably going to say something to the front desk next time because if your job is to shop for orders, you should at least do it efficiently and not block entire aisles for everyone else. Am I the only one who notices this or does it drive anyone else crazy too? 🤔

@the_first_index @BrokenGamezHDR_ And take a massive hit on price like the good old days of loss leader strategy. Maybe a pack in title halo CE remake free with every console.

@BrokenGamezHDR_ Yes you can. Easily. Launch Helix well before PS6, just like 360 vs PS3. Then immediately walk back the strategy on cross platform first party games. Halo, Elder Scrolls, Gears, Fable etc. are all exclusive. Do a bunch of OG/360 nostalgia gimmicks.
