I love America, but I hate to burst your bubble: if you are on Twitter, and you are getting posts about how Europeans visiting for the World Cup are completely in awe of American food and grocery stores— I have to be honest with you and tell you you are being fed complete nonsense by the algorithm.
I’ve traveled to almost every European country, and there isn’t a single one which doesn’t have better grocery stores and higher-quality restaurant food than the USA.
Just being honest, as a doctor should

25% of US doctors are foreigners.
28,000+ US medical students graduate per year - 1000+ don't get a residency spot.
Of the 44,000+ US residency spots per year, 16,000+ are filled by foreigners!
TMB president Sherif Zaafran is a strong advocate for foreign doctors and led the state to pass the DOCTOR Act last session, easing licensing requirements for foreign doctors.

@Primal_Birth @alleycat0592 Its either dig in and boot lick the medical tyrants or research and question and realize there are better options and learn to advocate for yourself.
English

@Primal_Birth @alleycat0592 It has to be mostly women and men married to women who just cannot bear the thought that their suffering was unnecessary? So they create this weird defensive cognitive dissonance when they see others question or reject the abuse or treatments they accepted out of fear.

A little over a year ago I went to a new doctor for imaging related to a condition I have.
The doctor was Indian and what’s more apparently hadn’t been briefed about my diagnosis. So the scans are done and I’m sitting there while he shares the results with me.
He points to the images and starts explaining how they are all clear and look great and even points to the area where my problem is clearly visible and says, “Here’s where would see it if you had .”
I just sat there blinking like, do I say something? Would it matter? He gave me the all clear and walked me to the exit and while he did he slipped me his business card and told me next time to book an appointment directly with him and not to go though the office. ???
I never went back.

@MommieHTX @Primal_Birth I didn't have pitocin (neither did my SIL) but I'm sure you know a lot of other things.
English

Of course most of us are willing to die for our children but it doesn't actually have to be this way in the majority of cases, that's what I am getting at.
EllaDeon@elladeonRH
@Ak6338952927051 @Primal_Birth @wrowclif Yes, I am willing to die for my child. If you want to be unscarred, don't have children.
English

@Primal_Birth @elladeonRH we’re not allowed to point out medical care is sub par unless we die according to these bootlickers.
What morally superior standards they have. Oh your uterus ruptured from pitocin and you and baby almost died and now you’re permanently infertile?
“But they SAVED your LIFE” 😒
English

@elladeonRH No, it's about trauma and unnecessary intervention but keep being a cunt.
English

@alleycat0592 lol people love to just shove words in my mouth! Sub par means room for improvement I never advocate for anyone to avoid all hospitals and doctors at all costs. But their argument is “stfu bc u+Baby are alive!”
So death is the only time I have a right to complain? lol
English

@MommieHTX I like when randoms who can’t align themselves w my worldview find my posts and rain negativity on them
As a lil treat
English

@MommieHTX @wrowclif Golly gee why ever would I think that you were saying we (generally) shouldn’t use modern medicine bc it’s so flawed?
What might possibly have led me to this ~wild~ presumption?
Oh wait. It’s you 😂

English

Kind of amazing if you think about it that we've gotten so good at "Live baby in bassinet" that it barely registers as a worthwhile metric to people anymore.
"Of course you have a live baby in the bassinet"
Arielle🪷@Primal_Birth
I think the point is yes modern medicine saves lives but maternity care has swung the pendulum too far. They don't practice individualized or evidence based care in the vast majority of cases, and yes, a live baby in a bassinet is a huge metric, but not the only one. Outcomes are not improving.
English

@MommieHTX @wrowclif If only all opposing parties in law were as thoughtful as you
So helpful of you to provide me the relevant evidence in a neat package! 📦

@fallsintograce @JulieLovesFluff The main problem is DOCTORS ARE NO LONGER TRUSTWORTHY
I am actually better off trusting my body and my own RESEARCH and coming to an informed decision. Mr. Jeeptal Patel from fraudulent university in India does give a single fuck about me or my baby’s well being
English

Having had a natural unmedicated birth with a midwife in a birthing center, a few medicated births in a hospital, am unmedicated hospital birth, and two emergency c sections I can confidently say the best method is the one with a live baby at the end. One of my c section recoveries was easier than my natural labor, one was harder, and everyone pretending anything is more important than a live baby has never had a dead baby, and I pray they don't. Stay ignorant to the trauma, but stop telling moms their feelings are more important than a living baby, they aren't.
English

@fallsintograce @JulieLovesFluff If I had trusted my doctor I would have had c section my first birth(and probably every subsequent birth). If I had trusted my doctors I’d have induction at 37 weeks.
Live baby and live mother ok better than dead..but DISEMBOWLING a woman without legitimate cause? Is fine with u

@JohnSpelman17 @nickgerli1 Lennar builds homes to last about 5 years. My friends was 2 years and foundation cracked wallls cracking near ceiling the roof supports were a cluster fuck drainage and grading issues and she lost power to only half her house the 2nd week she moved in.
English

@nickgerli1 That house is bigger and has more bathrooms than the house my parents raised 4 boys in
English

Pretty wild what Lennar is offering in Texas.
$148,000 asking price on a 3x2 new build at 1,400 SF.
Monthly payment of $950.
And in some cases, they're giving a 5-year ARM rate of 3.3%.
Many parts of Texas are correcting hard, and giving buyers a huge opportunity to buy at steep discounts.
In this ZIP code specifically, values are down 13% over the last four years.

@Romy_Holland Many people do not know why they feel that way. They don’t know about peptides or HRT. Doctors are pretty ignorant of it too unless they’re specialists or out of pocket. Most doctors just say “oh yeah thats normal at your age” and its dropped bc we’re taught to trust the experts
English

the thing I don't understand about ppl who lose their libido in middle age is the idea that the low libido person is often apparently just fine with this. if I lost my interest in food I'd start experimenting with new foods to find something I like, bc enjoyment of food is important to me.
if menopause obliterated my sex drive, I'd get myself on peptides or testosterone, I'd be buying handcuffs and wigs and a furry costume just to double check. how does anyone go from having a normal amount of sex to just having no sex for years without thinking that's worth a serious intervention? I guess a bunch of ppl also lose the ability to want to want sex?
English

@gregcello Cheap Chinese crap is an abomination to the act of giving too.. probably the reason for the gift wish lists 🤷🏼♀️
