The 49ers finished 2024 as the #26 defense, #29 vs the run. They've totally remade their D-line in just 2 drafts since then. They've followed the Rams' formula we discussed during 2025's cuts: Use the draft (draftees highlighted in gold), not FA. Look at that difference!

This quote is a glimpse into the 49ers’ success + process. Might even suggest they take bigger draft swings to shoot for bigger rewards. Think higher whiff rate but higher HR rate. Because HRs actually move the needle while simply “OK” players aren’t hard to acquire elsewhere

We don’t really care as much about what the mocks say. I really do like Stribling. Nothing against him. I wouldn't even surprised if he ends up being a monster. My problem is the trend of the 49ers reaching against consensus big boards has never worked in their favor. Ever!
