@BeSaintly What are you talking about you absolute retard?? The Catholic Church annahilated local cultures throughout the Americas and Asia, imposed faith often thru violence. And appealing to “diversity” is idiotic, leftist new age bs. Are you even Christian??

This was something that helped push me to Catholicism, ultimately Scripture was what made me convert but these things just can’t be ignored. God’s Church elevates culture Every other religion erases and corrupts it
Blub 🇻🇦🇵🇭@BlubFunnies

It's not just in Japan. The way I see it, Protestants everywhere (particularly Evangelicals) push their norms influenced by their own culture onto everywhere they go. Catholicism, on the other hand, elevates the cultures of the world and thus shows the universality of the Church.

We Orthodox Christians do not pray to icons, nor do we believe icons "save" us. Icons are holy images that lift our minds and hearts to the persons they depict: Christ, the Theotokos, and the Saints. We venerate (honor) them with respect and love, just as we might kiss a photo of a loved one. The honor passes to the prototype—the real person—not the wood and paint. Salvation comes from Christ alone—through His Cross, Resurrection, and the life of the Church. Icons simply help us pray. They remind us of the Incarnation: God became visible in the flesh, so we can depict Him. No magic. No idolatry. Just love and remembrance. ☦️

@dragodimitrov @TheTrueTA Did Jesus want his church burning people alive over 400 years? How about actively protecting r4pist priests??

Why can't we find the concept of Christian denominations anywhere in the Bible or in Church history?

@DJfromIndy @ImprecatoryOne Church history, as in the church that burned people alive over 400 years? Female pope? Orgies in Vatican? Medici Pope? Indulgences? Actively protecting r4pist priests?? The church is massively corrupt and youre all eating up medieval psyops. Adherence to the bible is all we have

@Mukelei2 @ImprecatoryOne When it comes to doctrine, I’m not sure genetic fallacy should be dismissed. If we all are working from the same set of scriptures, and you interpret them one way, I interpret them another way, a belief existing in majority for much of church history should add a lot of weight.

I don’t want to argue with you, so please stop making a fuss about my move from Evangelicalism to the Orthodox Church. In my opinion, "True Way" is following Jesus, not a particular Christian denomination Thank you.
ミハイル@MrWHOsecond2

I believe the Orthodox Church is a wonderful church with apostolic succession, and the same goes for the Roman Catholic Church, for example. But, at the same time, I have no intention of looking down on Evangelicals or other Protestants. All Christians are brothers and sisters.

@Krisdreemurr05 @sola_chad Because the institution is corrupt. It burned people alive over 400 years. It actively protects ped0ph1le r4pist priests. Catholics commit a genetic fallacy. What was then isn’t what is now.

@sola_chad The Catholic Church created the Bible, He compiled and transcribed each book and decided which ones were included and which were excluded from the canon. Why do you trust a book and not the person who created the book in the first place?

@LizzieMarbach I’m Hispanic. These celebrations are known to be hedonistic erotomania. Just plain Sodom and Gomorrah level of depravity. There’s absolutely insane afterparties. This is a known fact across the Hispanic world, the more Catholic the name of a festivity, the crazier the parties.

@BlubFunnies @BeSaintly Up until recently you guys were adamant about doing the liturgy in latin rather than common tongue. Within Japan half of Catholics are foreign nationals and Protestants and Evangelicals have you beat out in actual number of Japanese

a) "ever used" doesn't mean they are currently as likely. A lot of Catholics fall away for a while or are converts that would answer yes to that question without it meaning they are currently using. b) Catholics, Southern Baptists, and Orthodox all have about 25-30% church attendance rates. This makes data that does not account for attendance very suspect. If someone doesn't care enough to show up (a mortal sin in the Catholic Church) why would you expect them to obey the social teachings of the church?
