Brief Editor's Note. Earlier this morning we reported that Brian Houston's X account reposted an X-rated video, and we included a censored screenshot to document it. We were later contacted by a brother with some concerns. He said that while the image was blurred, the position of what could be seen suggested it was a sexual scene being acted out behind the semi-transparent pixels, and that, paraphrasing, it was a "bit much" and could be seen as a stumbling block. To assuage his concerns and any others who may have felt likewise, the screenshot we selected did not contain any nudity; rather, it included a woman holding a broomstick, which we covered up. Upon further consideration, however, we can see where our blurring perhaps made it look even worse, and we can kind of see his point. Out of deference to the love of a good correction by well-intentioned brothers, we decided to delete the entire post and thread. At the same time, and on that note, if anyone ever feels likewise and believes we need a good rebuke and a spiritual kick to the ribs, please reach out to us via DM. (You can also just post it publicly and tag us if you'd like, but the other way guarantees we'll see it and give a response. ) We always take criticism seriously, no matter who is doing it or what type of relationship they have with us, and we want to serve the Lord in the most faithful way we can.
