@CantEverDie That's because NFTs never made any sense. What AI should do is establish a firm separation between what films should be released theatrically or to streaming. If AI is used, straight to streaming. No AI, theatrical. That's really the only way to balance this mess out.

I've heard that David Foster Wallace tried and failed at least twice to complete the Rite of Christian Initiative (RCIA), which is the process to be received into the Catholic Church—and left before completing it both times, because he felt that it was a kind of cult around the person of Jesus Christ. If true, it's both sad and very funny at the same time. (Obviously, it IS a cult around the person of Jesus—only he would have the directness to actually call it that, though). But my suspicion is that Wallace just couldn't see past what he saw to be thin sociological forces and games that people play, not fully understanding that God can work even through them—that he can work even through mimesis and vibe shifts.
