I like this post (not that i do something similar), but i think you have few blind spots: All those probabilities you offered can be altered if for ex you take a more intentional approach which should lead to reaching depth faster, you can also meet with multiple friends at the same time, it doesnt have to be one on one. I have other thoughts on the matter but I'll stop it here

We have open-sourced HY-1.8B-2Bit, a high-efficiency 2-bit LLM built for on-device deployment. This model scales the 1.8B base down to an effective 0.3B parameter footprint, requiring only 600MB of storage, making it smaller than many mobile apps. 🔹 Ultra-Low-Bit Strategy: Uses QAT (Quantization-Aware Training) to reach a 2-bit representation (0.3B bit-equivalent size). 🔹 Dual-CoT Reasoning: Retains sophisticated Dual Chain-of-Thought capabilities despite radical precision reduction. 🔹 Performance: 3-8x faster prefill on Apple M4 and MediaTek Dimensity 9500; 2-3x faster token generation on-device. 🔹 Benchmark Gains: Achieves a 17% average accuracy lead over models of equivalent size. 🔹 Hardware Synergy: Optimized for Arm SME2 and modern consumer silicon. HY-1.8B-2Bit is available now in GGUF format for seamless integration into edge-based inference engines. Project Page: github.com/Tencent/AngelS… Weights: huggingface.co/AngelSlim/HY-1… GGUF Version: huggingface.co/AngelSlim/HY-1… Technical Report: huggingface.co/AngelSlim/HY-1…

I was recently was accused publicly of being paid to praise China. The attacks were pointed deep and someone with a loud voice, power, and someone who I respect. Given the gravity of the accusations, I feel compelled to respond: 1. I don't "endlessly praise China" and I sometimes criticize it. I've had to flee China. I've reported their citizens to the FBI. To the extent that I can project that far in the future, I am not optimistic about the country when their millennials take over. I moved one of our molds out of China to Indonesia and have developed a whole alternative supply chain out of China. If China's government said "Molson, we don't like your comments, we're shutting you down" my business would survive because my company's supply chain is, as of 2025, 45% outside of China and could be 100%. All of this is public, from posts on X to lawsuits (I have public physical restraining orders on multiple Chinese nationals, more on that later). I talk about China because I am interested in the future and manufacturing and I'd like to see my country do better than it is. We can learn from some aspects of what China has done. 2. "Credit facilities" from China or Chinese banks are not lending me money. No one is. I don't have any debt besides a credit card which I pay on time. Debt ruined my parents' lives and I saw that first hand so I decided not to repeat their mistake. I don't have any investors either. So where does my money come from? I worked some jobs between years in college and I won an amateur chess tournament in 2008 with a significant prize and I knew if I failed I could fall back on my parents (I am lucky for that). I used the internship job and chess tournament money to buy my first batch of inventory. Then, I had minimal expenses by living with my mom, living in an 85 year old woman's apartment for free (taking care of her), and living in tier 3 city China (under $30/day). I made money off of earnings from selling our products, which allowed me to expand the business without debt. Then in 2017 I founded a second business after being counterfeited by some of my Chinese employees (this began the saga of why I have restraining orders against Chinese citizens in US courts). That business collected over 100 million dollars from mainly Chinese counterfeiters and infringers for mainly American businesses. Let's say that again. That business collected over 100 million dollars from mainly Chinese counterfeiters and infringers for mainly American businesses. I founded it with my brother. We had no other investors and we sold it to a private equity firm in 2024. That's how I was about to design and build not one but two warehouses in Austin Texas without "credit facilities". 3. I am not "easily bought". I was recently asked to write a pro-China article by a very famous newspaper, maybe even the world's most famous newspaper. It was going to appear in their opinion section. They refused to publish what I wanted to write (which ended with an entire section about how the United States could regain its footing against China), so I passed on being published. I'm not a propagandist for hire, either by money or by fame. 4. I do sell "to the Chinese". My company (the one I never sold, which I founded over 15 years ago) does sell to Chinese customers in the United States, our repeat buying distributor in Taiwan, and Chinese in other countries in Southeast Asia where we have distributors. I am currently signing a contract to form a wholly foreign owned enterprise to sell in China. I am a self-taught Chinese speaker and, against all odds, including many Chinese voices who think we will fail, I think we will win in China and do well. I'm excited by the opportunity. 5. I am not "a predator on Americans". I'm not even sure what this accusation means but it makes me sick to my stomach (the whole post actually ...I'll stop there). I have numerous American employees. They are great, good people. They innovate and are jointly responsible for any success my companies have. And we're hiring more. I don't feel comfortable even mentioning them here, but somehow this feels like it needs to be said. 6. I am not anti-American and especially not so "in a pattern more pronounced than the ultranationalist Chinese". I voted for this current administration because I thought, to a lesser extent, Trump and, mainly, Elon and RFK jr, were the best hope for the United States. After they were elected, I told 3 people (not random people, real legit people who I know) who were connected to the administration that I wanted to work for it. I sent in my resume. No answer. I tried to help. I was ignored and rebuffed and someone even laughed at the thought that I would be considered. I care about the country. I am American and will always be. I cannot be anything else, especially not Chinese. Someday I may throw my hat in the ring for public office, but the time is not yet right. There are amazing (and bad) people in both the US and China and, for the sake of the entire planet, we should get along. It is not an either or. 7. I do not "insult Americans" with anything that I write, especially not my customers. My customers are fantastic. I am honored by every single purchase of our educational products. Every single one. It warms my heart more than dollars in a bank account on a screen ever will. I am constantly sharing the dm's and posts I see on social media of people using our products with my team because it is their accomplishments too and we are proud. It is legitimately one of the greatest honors in my life to have our products in their homes and in the hands of their kids, hopefully making them smarter, better engineers and readers. Conclusion That's it. That's the whole story. I'm not on anyone's payroll but my own. I am tired of these endless attacks on my character and I ask that I stop, especially when they are obviously factually inaccurate. Everything I said here is either in a post or public. You can see the molds I made in Indonesia. You can read the article I wrote for the famous newspaper which was rejected. You can read the consent judgment where my former employees in China admitted to what they did. You can find posts where I invited people to report me as a Chinese foreign agent to the United States, where I give the email to do that. Maybe someone did that because our containers keep getting intensive exams and no one, not even my Congressman can explain why. I tried calling the writer of these accusations 3x to resolve this. I tried DMing, but apparently, they could not be convinced that I wasn't whatever they believe I am. So I wrote this, I think, in a respectful way. These accusations were just too powerful to let stand. I wrote it not just because these accusations left me very uncomfortable, especially if you read the whole piece and how it is constructed, but also because I hear this all the time from people and I hate it. Thank you to anyone who read this. I am increasingly realizing that this place is not for me and I'm going to have to pull it back. If you see me do that, this is why. Sincerely, I really appreciate everyone on here who I interact with regularly. I'm addicted to seeing your notifications and reading your thoughts and even the pushback. Thank you. It has been an exciting ride.

I see many recommend Mac mini or Raspberry pi for running @openclaw I'd recommend an orangePi instead since it's less trendy, with the orangepi5 you can have 8 cores + up to 16 Gb of RAM

Correct. If you look at my feed, you’ll see banger after banger all with sub-10k views despite 80k+ followers. Maybe it’s not a good idea to tell the director of product at X that you’re better than he is at his job.
