We had a great chat during @NavanCycling visit yesterday about our school's desire to see much needed additional cycle lanes in surrounding areas of our school. So many more of our pupils would cycle if proper and safe infrastructure was in place 🚲 @meathcoco @RSAIreland

Brand new cycle lanes in Navan on the Trim Road. @anpost please ask your drivers not to park illegally like this. This van was here for over 10 minutes forcing cyclists out on the main road.

I am calling on @RSAIreland to issue a non conditional apology and take the latest offensive appalling advert down from every forum it is on and for the resignation of Sam Waide CEO and a new board to be put in place. It is roundly criticized by many on its insult to non car users, to those with disabilities, to active transport and public transport etc, and rightly so. But above all in my view it is an affront to those killed by drunk/drug drivers, to those bereaved by road crime and the many injured. The comic element is disgusting. It is hard to believe that this was commissioned. How on earth could anyone in RSA or @Dept_Transport think this was acceptable in any way? The RSA are attempting to shame people towards car ownership to fill their coffers. It’s not road safety education nor is it supporting modal shift - two key metrics in their own road safety strategy. I don’t believe there’s any salvaging the RSA. @EamonRyan @lawlessj
