Anyone here who works on vendor review and monitoring for the purposes of dora/soc/iso compliance? And you want to talk to me for 15mins? Happy to enrich it with coffee and snacks as long as it is in Europe :)

@HarryStebbings just stick to nespresso. alternatives that deliver substantially better coffee require your time and commitment. alternatives that deliver slightly better coffee are not worth it.

Every 5 years I check out the web browser offering. This year's findings are quite interesting. @googlechrome is not my favourite because, while I also use Google services, I want my browser to be unbundled. But it's widely used, supported and mostly just works. @MicrosoftEdge is surprisingly good. I actually have no complaints about it. I actually think it's better than Chrome. But again, I prefer unbundled browsers. @vivaldibrowser is a surprise of this year. I love it. While chromium based (which is a perk) it's made by a team in Europe. But their plugins don't work well (Claude, for instance, doesn't load at all). Their vertical tabs don't work well (and I love vertical tabs). @firefox is another positive surprise. It became much faster. I really liked it. But Metamask doesn't connect with Ledger. Very nice AI implementation. @heliumbrowser I really like it. clean interface. But no hover over vertical tabs to expand. i think everything that i tried worked. Me geek out.

I've been using @QwantCom for three months now, and I really like it. At first, I compared results with Google a lot, but now I just use Qwant. And it's great.

@itsPaulAi The focus is now moving from improving LLMs to building agentic tools thatbuse the LLMs. Anthripic is doing the same. Apple is probably doing it.

BREAKING: Sequoia (@sequoia) leading the largest European seed round of all time with $1B at $4B valuation. David Silver, one of Britain’s top AI researchers, left Google DeepMind late last year to launch the London-based start-up Ineffable Intelligence. He aims to build “superhuman intelligence”. Sequoia partners Alfred Lin and Sonya Huang flew to London to visit Silver after his departure, who is also a professor at University College London.

Too many people in the legal AI/tech space are focused on transforming existing departments rather than helping build the departments of tomorrow.

Have you ever sent (or received) an email to the in-house legal team with a note that says, “Please review this asap” and no explanation? It's one of the largest resource hogs in organisations. It makes departments play ping-pong.

If we only had ideas like this before we would still have telegraphists, lamp lighters, elevator operators, clock keepers, switchboard operators and many others who have lost their jobs!

Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman says most white-collar work "will be fully automated by an AI within the next 12 to 18 months.” If that’s true, it’s an economic earthquake. We need a moratorium on new AI data centers to make sure AI works for workers, not just billionaires.

My BTC new model (3 Power Laws + OU process) has been firing continuous MODERATE BUY signals since Feb 3, 2026, not euphoria just steady accumulation. Mean reversion force (Theta) is very high + price below equilibrium.

It seems that before 1-bil dollar 1-person company powered by AI, we are seeing tens of small businesses that went 10x (or 100x) without hiring more people. @billybinion To be honest, he says AI will get most of lawyers' tasks done, not replace them. There is a difference.

This is so silly. AI will be massively disruptive, yes. But the idea that within a year it'll automate away most or all work done by *lawyers* is ludicrous. This debate could benefit from a little more sobriety.
