During the interview, the reporter asked me how it felt now that the recruiting process was over. My response was that it's far from over because I still have to make it official by signing in December.
That answer was about the timeline—not my commitment.

As we mentioned in the story, Nike places all its its college programs in color categories: Team Crimson, Team University Red, etc Seems like South Carolina is in Team Crimson ... which is close but not USC's exact Pantone 202 color South Carolina garnet ----- Team Crimson

The Nike garnet certainly looks different than the Under Armour garnet. Most items I saw were definitely a shade or two lighter.
Will say: It all depends on the fabric.
Don't think its a bad thing, but will take some getting used to.
