@sukh_saroy It’s very cool! Does a great job most of the time. If you don’t want to mess with api keys and such you can also try AutoSprite io which manages a lot of stuff for you

🚨Breaking: Someone just built an AI sprite sheet generator for 2D game characters and it's actually impressive.
It's called Sprite Sheet Creator. And it's not just an image generator.
It's a full pipeline -- text prompt to animated game-ready character -- with walk cycles, jump animations, attack sequences, and a live sandbox to test everything before you export.
Here's what this thing does:
→ Generate a pixel art character from any text description
→ Auto-creates a 6-frame walk cycle sprite sheet (2x3 grid)
→ Auto-creates a 4-frame jump animation (2x2 grid)
→ Auto-creates a 4-frame attack animation -- AI picks the style
→ Removes backgrounds automatically for clean transparent sprites
→ Adjustable grid dividers for precise frame cropping
→ Preview animations at adjustable FPS before exporting
→ Drop your character into a parallax side-scroller sandbox to test it live
Here's the wildest part:
Indie game devs spend hours commissioning sprite sheets or hand-pixeling walk cycles frame by frame.
This does it in a text prompt.
Type a character description. Get a game-ready animated sprite sheet with walk, jump, and attack -- ready to drop into Unity, Godot, or whatever engine you're using.
Built with fal.ai and Next.js. Runs locally in minutes.
100% Open Source.

@techhalla This is super cool! To automate some of the spritesheet stuff for better loops and character consistency you can try autosprite.io

The game engine I'm cooking (RAMEN) is finally coming together! 🍜
Anyone down to test it out? I'm droppin the first version next week and it's gonna include:
· Video to spritesheet generator (AI video compatible)
· Spatial detection for 2D backgrounds for custom lights and shadows
· Node-based game logic. Totally no-code
· Tons of other stuff focused on making a 100% playable 2D adventure in just a couple of days
This is just the tipo of the iceberg, so saty tuned for more details, but if you're intersted on testing it, just let me kno in the comments. Thanks!!

Indie game devs are about to love me (or hate me) for this... I built an AI workflow (app included) that spits out spritesheets in minutes, from assets created on freepik. Breaking it all down below 👇

@Glitchymagic Can probably get pretty close with autosprite.io , I’ll give it a try this weekend
English

@Angaisb_ You can use autosprite io to get animated sprites like this
English

@chongdashu I’ve been following the project, very impressed! I’ve done a lot of the same stuff and we run into some of the same problems . I built a product for this exact reason autosprite.io
Character consistency , any spritesheet animation you want (with mcp)

Promising results in using AI to generate new assets!
> Asset pack has no WALK or JUMP
> Load existing anims into Nano Banana Pro
> Prompt to create missing ones
> Images are not 'clean' (wrong size, no transparency)
> Load into Codex App w/ GPT 5.2
> Asked to normalise the new images
> Create in-game debug tool to preview
End result is not perfect... but still pretty cool!
> Color palette not preserved exactly
> Wrong clipping of edges
> Walk cycle not complete
Will continue to iterate and find improvements in this workflow.

Inflation is now at 1.2% according to @truflation.
For the last year I have been warning that deflation was a much bigger risk than inflation.
The Federal Reserve completely screwed this up.
They must cut rates aggressively now!

@chongdashu You can try autosprite io for your characters and enemies
English

@granisonprime @chongdashu Just take a screenshot and it makes spritesheets out of it

Playing around mostly with UI today.
I've now added cutscenes before the game starts - just for a bit of flavour and storytelling.
Will make a separate post on getting 9-slices to play nicely in Phaser
(you can see some of it is broken here)
Chong-U@chongdashu
Added the following: - Menu screens - Level progressions - Win/Lose conditions - Balanced the AI Barely made it past the second level! This is becoming quite fun! Opus 4.5 + PhaserJS skill Next step is to get the skill to work well with UI elements and 9-slices
English

@KingBootoshi To complete the loop you can use autosprite.io mcp to create the character spritesheets
English

@chatgpt21 Make the characters actual game characters with @AutoSpriteio and boom full game, this is great!
English

@ann_nnng I get my characters from autosprite for my spritesheets and then use phaserjs to make my games.
Been using codex but it’s pretty bad, have to baby sit a lot.
Will try these

This hack for making Nano Banana Pro game assets is next level. 🔥
You can create a TON of assets in a single image.
Here's my prompt for creating THEMED set of pixel art game assets: A flat 2D pixel art sprite sheet containing 30 unique fantasy RPG items. The items follow a [super amazing] theme. High-quality 32-bit retro game style. The items are arranged in a neat grid with spacing between them, isolated on a pure white background. No overlapping items, high variety, distinct silhouettes.
You can change this "[super amazing]" part to whatever you want but if you leave it, it will come up with something random on it's own.
If you want to get even closer to the generations shown in the video, use the images below in the reply as an image reference along side the text prompt.
Also a lot of AI sites are offering infinite Nano Banana Pro generations for free right now, you should take advantage of this and generate as much possible!
Please like & bookmark if you found it helpful 🫶

@Gambo_AI_Tool Can get pretty close to the right one with autosprite.io

Everyone says “Gemini 3 can make games.”
So we tested it — with a Metal Slug-style prompt on both Gemini and Gambo.
Same input.
Completely different output.
Here’s the result.

Found an interesting tool on @VibeCodingList, it is called AutoSprite, and it's really cool! I've made my character do some actions. Felt like I was an animator for a couple of minutes. Really cool project by @AutoSpriteio 100%!
