If a founder spent their childhood:
- Grinding ranked in any competitive game
- Building random stuff with a 3d printer or Raspberry Pi
- Selling stuff online
- Making Minecraft mods or roblox games

Specifically in knowledge work. While there is generative AI for videos/media (which also does save actual quality studios, who know what they're doing, a lot of work)
My observations have been focused on engineering, any kind of knowledge work, research, via agents. Specifically agent harnesses like Claude Code/Codex, which give LLMs access to external tools, truly speed up and augment knowledge workers tenfold MINIMUM

Cos I've seen nothing that isnlt slop. Which has its uses for fun & porn and the like but it is ALL derivative and some of it utterly criminal when it reconstitutes & synthesizes eg the photography of others and never as well as the original. The

anybody who seriously uses AI at this point deeply understands this shit is not replacing humans in anything because we are all working 10x more since we are 10x more productive
everyone is just going to operate at a new layer that was never seen before and it's MARVELOUS

- Give access to AI to as many people as possible. (Maybe a specialized LLM device similar to Kindle is to books)
- Make it as easy as possible to start a business. (Web3 business registry: people in difficult countries can start their own company)
Some struggle I believe is inevitable, unfortunately.

CODEX GOAL MODE IS AMAZING HAHAHAHA, AN ADVANCED RALPH LOOP YOU GUYS HAVE TO TRY
It ran for 3 hours. It works in one shot. It went through actual E2E tests and interacted with the API manually to confirm it works in prod before reporting back
Custom esLint rules/Biome/Gated Tests/E2E testing requirements prevented it from cheating and writing poor code by providing a clean feedback loop!

@KingBootoshi As for carving reality ourselves - absolutely. This is the way. But imo if we’re to create an expansive future collectively, we likely need a collective consciousness revolution. And again, imo this is something those who are shepherding the tech, do not want us to achieve.

If we expect the current style of jobs to be the standard then yes I do expected everyone at their current state to be unemployed
I anticipate an evolution of what a “job” is currently defined as that pushes a new economic layer of what’s possible !

I appreciate the thought process here but this is a logical fallacy. Jevon's paradox has limits. Automation leads to demand saturation and AI won't need hand holding forever. I fully expect to be unemployed sooner than later.

@robotlovecoffee there will be a million new jobs at this higher layer of economic reality as a result of hyper efficiency
it will be a rough transition, like ripping off an infected bandaid, but i believe it will lead to long term prosperity!

@KingBootoshi for some yes but many management are going to be in trouble if they do not pivot and many companies are going to cut staff. I do agree that for those that can work with AI will thrive but there will be a cost so many.
