A story in 4 photos. Do you remember a while back when they turned on the feature that you can see what country people are from? Well if you look on yours, it says United States and then it has a little (!) Next to it when you click on it, it says that your region can change depending on where you are. But if you look at this other person who responded above, it has a shield, and when you click on it, it says that they are using a VPN. So accounts are using them to hide what country of origin they are in, mainly bots from Pakistan and India. But some people use them for security, many accounts that are based in the United States.

Please stop boosting anonymous foreign slop accounts purporting to share war information. Foreign flags, the VPN warning label, and the word “OSINT” are all giant red flags.
