Was about to call this guy an idiot but thought about for more than 30 seconds and he's right.
Unless there are community ownership models (not allowed in USSF PLS btw) or Ohio style "Modell Laws" pro/rel would not prevent teams "moving".

Hate to break it to the pro-pro/rel crowd, but a completely OPEN soccer system would allow any team to move anywhere, anytime — without restrictions. Any city could float a $1B soccer stadium and steal ANY team in the country in a true open system.

@NoterTodFooty There are some procedural loopholes that have "kinda" allowed it in Portugal where league licenses were kept or transferred from the original club. Which created a "move".
