I got stick for backing Kane in this scenario a few years back. Players have to “milk it” to ensure a red card is brandished. If Haaland had done so yesterday, Gabriel would’ve seen red. Officials need to be better, or players will continue to “milk it.”

@TomDutty There is no excuse for Kane's behaviour in this case. It is cheating, a nasty stain on our sport. Kane should have been sent off here, banned and stripped of the England captaincy. Violent conduct is rightly an offence but cheating like this also needs to be punished.

@mikeeeLFC @TomDutty Why are you even saying this? Kane wasn't "struck in the face". Contact was minimal, he wasn't hurt, dazed, marked, he carried on playing. He exaggerated the whole incident to get the player sent off. What kind of example is that to set to kids, especially as a role model.

I think when they're being honest, even the most biased Liverpool fans will admit they got all the decisions from a weak ref today.

@GHL72 Of course it happens both ways. I don't think anyone would argue that decisions always 100% benefit one club.
But there are different degrees of both ways.
2 decisions may well favour Everton in 6 years but far more favour Liverpool in derbies over that period.
