@johnmcdonnellMP John, you haven't left the labour party but by staying in it the left has left you.

Government ministers cannot watch on, wringing their hands, whilst Netanyahu blatantly forces the Palestinians off their land, destroying any hope of a Palestinian state. Total sanctions are the least this government could do & coordinate with other states theguardian.com/world/2026/may…

The man accused of hitting a Muslim woman wearing a hijab with his car has been named as 31-year-old Brennan Mongan, from Sewell Road in Abbey Wood, southeast London.
Police said he fled to Scotland before being located, arrested and charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, dangerous driving, criminal damage to a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.
He appeared at Woolwich Crown Court via video link, but the hearing had to be adjourned because he was unable to secure legal representation.
He remains on remand, and another hearing has been scheduled for 18 June.

@I_amMukhtar @Eyeswideopen69 Reform voters don't care. They will happily disadvantage themselves for a perceived win over someone else the hate. They vote based on how they feel not how they think.

@NiallHarbison Everyday you remind me that there are good people in the world

There were plenty of people who told me to put Rocky out of his misery. To let him go. It was cruel on him to keep him suffering.
I even doubted my own decision to fight for his life at times. He just seemed so bad. The blood results and his general eyesight and functions were in such poor shape I worried I might be keeping him alive more out of false hope and for my own dreams. Luckily Rocky had other ideas too. He very much wanted to live and I could see the from day 1.
His eyesight if partially back and improving by the day. His bloods are getting better. He is packing on the pounds. Most of all Rocky feels loved and safe and he has lots of dog and human friends now. He belongs.
He sprinted into that water today and me and him forgot about all the hard days and the tough worrying nights.
He really is a very very special dog ❤️

@domdyer70 My two only allowed out on grass in early morning/evening. The pavement will burn pads. They love our cold tiled bathroom floor so I keep the blinds down and the fan on in there.

@Scaramucci On any big issue ask someone. What do they think or what do they feel. Two very different answers.

Trump said something to me in 2016 that I’ve never forgotten.
He asked if I thought the British were going to Brexit. I said no because economically it made no sense.
He said you’re looking at it as an economic decision. It’s not. It’s an emotional one.
Three weeks later, June 2016, they Brexited.
That was the moment I understood something real about the reality of politics in the US and the UK.
Would I be surprised if Farage became Prime Minister? Not really.
The Conservatives had their run. Labour is struggling.
We’re in an anti-incumbency era across the entire West and Reform has never actually held power.
So people shrug and say it can’t get any worse, let’s try something new.
I hope it doesn’t happen. I think their policies are asinine.
But I said Brexit couldn’t happen either.

The E1 settlement plans in the West Bank are egregious.
With international partners, we are clear: these settlements are illegal and threaten a viable Palestinian state.

Horrible Congressman Thomas Massie put out an old Endorsement, from many years ago, of him by me long before I found out that he was the Worst Congressman in the History of our Country. I endorsed Ed Gallrein, a true American Patriot, which Massie knows full well, so the statement that he put out is fraudulent, just like HE is fraudulent. WITHDRAW YOUR FAKE STATEMENT, MASSIE, RIGHT NOW! President DONALD J. TRUMP

@Nigel_Farage Good he's in the @NUJofficial - definitely good to be in a trades union.

@jeremycorbyn @WokeratiMarty Every single point is correct. This is not a labour government. No tweaking the top will fix the fact that so few MPs had the balls to speak out. Silence is complicity.

The Prime Minister says his government has got "the big political decisions right". Let's go through them.
The government chose to cut welfare so it could spend even more on weapons and war.
The government chose to demonise the sick and disabled.
The government chose to keep children in poverty until it was dragged kicking and screaming to finally scrap the two-child benefit cap.
The government chose not to bring water into public ownership, not to tax wealth and not to implement rent controls.
The government chose to arm Israel and participate in genocide.
The government chose to let the US use British air bases for its war crimes in Iran.
The government chose to let Palantir get its hands on our NHS.
The government chose to scapegoat migrants and refugees for its own failures.
Poverty, inequality and genocide. Those are the government's big decisions. And that is how this government will be remembered.

@RichardBurgon I don't think Labour can be saved Richard. Only a handful have any integrity left.

Lots of people are asking me what is going on with all the Labour leadership speculation.
So I’ll say it publicly here.
There appears to be an attempt to exploit, for their own ends, Catherine West’s understandable alarm over the catastrophic election results and the dire state the Labour Party is in.
Their aim is to bounce the party into a snap leadership contest limited to people who sat in the Cabinet and stayed silent while this Government carried out the very policies that have done such enormous damage and been a gift to Reform.
Labour cannot renew itself through a stitch-up by those responsible for the crisis we now face, including the danger of a Trump-style government.
Keir must go. But we only get one chance to get this right. So he should set a timetable to stand aside, with a new leader in place by the ends of the year. This would allow for a proper democratic leadership contest with a full range of candidates and a serious debate about how Labour changes course, the policies needed to rebuild support and how we stop Nigel Farage getting the keys to Downing Street.

Congratulations to you. Children are innocent and lovable. Those 168 children that your boss killed in the school in Minab, and you justified, were also children. When you kiss your baby, think of the mothers of those children.

On May 1st, Viviana aka “Vivi” joined our family, and our hearts instantly exploded with love. 💕 She is perfect and healthy, and her big brother is joyfully adjusting to life with his new baby sister. We are enjoying every moment in our blissful newborn bubble. Thank you to everyone who reached out with prayers during my pregnancy - I truly felt them throughout the entire experience. God is Good.🙏

@Keir_Starmer @suzyquiquero You have killed the labour party I knew and loved. Everyone in that party who has not spoken out against you is complicit. Labour cannot come back from this.

We must respond to the message that voters have sent us and break with the status quo once and for all.
We must confront the big challenges the public face with real answers.
That is how we will deliver the change that people are desperate for and build a stronger and fairer country.
