There is literally nothing at all that could energize Trump's base and indeed much of America than a photo-op of President Trump meeting and presenting awards to the two F-15 pilots they claim were rescued inside Iran. Man, I'm not disagreeing with you here (I'm a fan), but we have to find a better way to deal with schizophrenia in this country. Some of this has to be cracking back down on marijuana, especially for young people. Some of it has to be keeping intact a profit incentive for coming up with a drug that actually helps these people (there are currently none - zero that consistently work). I don't think most people realize how many people are out there trying desperately to get a friend/family member with schizophrenia help and it's basically impossible. I'm using schizophrenia as a placeholder for everything on the DSM 5 level types of issues, so it isn't just that, but once you've seen it up close - you'd be shocked at how much of this shit can be traced back to psychosis caused by drugs that we are actively legalizing in this country.

The whole idea of "incompetent to stand trial" is fucking nonsense. If you're too "incompetent" to understand that you shouldn't butcher an innocent woman on the train, you should die. Period. Arrest, convict, execute. You are not fit to be a part of human society. How many more innocent people must we sacrifice for the sake of coddling and babying the absolute scum of the Earth? Our ancestors had it right. They would have had this guy hanging from the gallows an hour after conviction. The old system of justice was light years better than this insane bullshit we're dealing with now.
