We've been investigating aster volumes and recently their volumes have started mirroring binance perp volumes almost exactly
Chart on the left is XRPUSDT on aster, you can see the volume ratio vs binance is ~1
Chart on the right is XRP perp volume on hyperliquid, where there's some decorrelation
Aster doesn't make it possible to get lower level data such as who is making and filling orders, so until we can get that data to verify if there's washtrading, aster perp volumes will be delisted

Those are some crazy predictions turning out to be true - dating all the way back to September '23
There's the possibility that the account just made multiple predictions, and this is the one that randomly 'stuck' and was correct
December 1 '23: LayerZero announces token and hints at airdrop (but no snapshot) - off by 5 days
May 4: LayerZero announces Anti-Sybil Campaign: 1) turning yourself in for leniency 2) releasing their own public anti-sybil list 3) community bounty hunter program
They also mentioned that turning yourself in means you won't end up on their public anti-sybil list
Non-zero chance a ton of wallets that end up on that list aren't even sybils, but just got caught in the cross-fire. They're now forever ingrained for everyone to use and see
A scenario that could occur afterwards:
'LayerZero is a reputable name, and they published an anti-sybil list. Let's use it for our own project, as it frees up a lot of work from our side.' - Tokenless project
It's not enough to get excluded from the LayerZero airdrop itself - they also want to make sure you won't get any other airdrops through their public anti-sybil list
