While gold sells off on margin calls... This chart explains who wins when the dust settles 🇺🇸 US: 8,133 tonnes 🇩🇪 Germany: 3,352 tonnes 🇮🇹 Italy: 2,452 tonnes 🇫🇷 France: 2,437 tonnes 🇨🇳 China: 2,262 tonnes Notice something? The countries with the most gold are the same ones best positioned to rebuild after this crisis. Gold doesn't pay yield. But in a world where energy infrastructure is burning and currencies are under pressure It's the last asset nobody can sanction. ♟️ Japan sits on 846 tonnes. Their LNG supply is obliterated. Their refineries can't get crude. 846 tonnes of gold is looking very smart right now. The shortterm tape is ugly The long term thesis just got stronger🥇 📩 Subscribe to my Newsletter link in my bio

Where growth is, capital follows. East Africa has been Africa's fastest-growing region for over a decade and is projected to stay that way. But many residents still lack banking services. Plus, return on equity for banks in the region is nearly double the global average. So it makes sense that Africa's largest banks — sitting on some of the continent's deepest pools of capital — are now looking East and betting on Kenya as the beachhead. Underpenetrated + highly profitable + fast-growing = Irresistible.

Africa’s biggest lenders are converging on Kenya, betting the country offers the best gateway into East Africa’s fast-growing but underbanked economies bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

@bitcoinwell I know @Metaplanet (my largest position) does let us verify. On the node running touché. 📝 This is something I’d like to see in the future.

Everyone wants institutional adoption until they realize institutions don't run nodes, don't verify transactions, and hold paper claims on an asset built to eliminate paper claims. 🤔

@MikePMoffatt I’m Suprised Bhutan isn’t there when the literally have a Gross National Happiness index instead of GDP. Anyways as a Canadian in my mid 30’s I wouldn’t wish to be any younger in this country. When I speak to young men, they’re so lost, It’s sad.

New World Happiness Report is out. Canada's rank has fallen to 25th overall (from 6th in 2013). More alarmingly, we're now 71st in happiness for 15-24 year olds. Anglo-American countries score particularly poorly on youth happiness, but Canada is particularly struggling.

@TFTC21 @denverbitcoin Walked back his Bitcoin stance, no thanks! Need someone with a spine. A leader has to make the right call even if his base is still blind to it.

Poilievre on JRE: "It's been a really disgusting PR campaign by extremist environmentalists and frankly some of our competitors to try and make our [oil] industry look bad, but it's the best industry in the world."

Prove me wrong, but long-term wealth cannot be built on a system where the supply keeps expanding.

People always get mad when I say this, but real estate today is such a terrible investment. It's a massive headache and liability. - You pay to maintain it - You can't split it when you need liquidity - You pay property tax every year just to keep owning it - And if you stop paying the government their cut, they take it. You never actually own it. You rent from the state the whole time!
