In my first few years, I stayed at school really late on Friday nights to visualize, mentally and literally walk-thru, and prepare all the lesson plan things for the upcoming week, as advised by my mentors. About this year... How would you mentor and advise beginning teachers?

School openings. It’s not safe. There’s no way, bring the numbers down. Remember we opened too soon. Why do we think this is different? Let’s perfect virtual learning w human interactions. Kids miss their teacher, they r starved for that relationship & It’s a safe.way to learn.

This is the graph everybody should be watching this month. Since the end of May, new COVID deaths have declined by almost 50% nationwide. (Deaths lag cases.) But deaths have doubled in one hotspot: Arizona. And yet they’re flat in other hotspots like Texas and Florida.
