false . the ethanol is manufactured at a loss to taxpayers, makes worse gas and drives the price of feed corn way up. don't blame the farmers. the government pays more for feed corn. don't blame the ranchers , the corn isn't going to cows as much. blame the government who tell you they are making eco fuel for cheaper. its lower fuel value so you have to use more. same CO2 produced at higher cost. anytime government helps, it does worse than the invisible hand!

this isn't Trump. it is the effect of sending millions of acres of what used to be feed corn for cows to ethanol plants. the corn is used to make ethanol which makes gas a worse fuel and is manufactured at a loss to taxpayers . cattle farms have to pay much more for cattle feed and corn farmers take the crop to whoever pays more. this is environmental people claiming ethanol production will help the environment by not burning oil. so they burn ethanol and more of it, so they can say they are burning less oil.
