Tulsa broadcast meteorologist here — I can 100% confirm this is not true. 95% of the technology we utilize is fed data from NOAA/NWS. Dismantling of these programs makes us less equipped to keep people safe.

@soonersbigred @wsuares If they worked 8 hour shifts it would take 3 of them around the clock with ZERO days off. It usually takes at least 2 during bad weather. One to keep eyes on the actual data and one to relay the info to the public. You sure would notice if that service was gone

This amount includes payments for various performances, such as the annual "Crimson & Queens" drag show and other events like Drag Bingo. - In one year, OU spent $56,000 on three separate drag-queen shows. - In 2023, OU paid $18,000 to Yvie Oddly for the "Crimson & Queens" event, $11,000 to Kornbread Jete for Drag Bingo, and $21,201 for another "Crimson & Queens" event where Willow Pill was paid $11,000. - In 2025, OU paid $11,500 to Plasma for a "Crimson and Queens" performance. How does everyone love the sheer amount universities will spend to push an agenda? But they would never pay for @charliekirk11 to come speak. Do something Oklahoma!

@didier_paul I worked with a science teacher for a few years who had solid red flapjack pajamas. She wore a pair of leggings under them & an undershirt of some kind. You could tell they weren’t used for actual sleeping but to have cute loungewear. It was part of her fun personality

@ModestTeacher I’ve never and will never come to school dressed as if I’m on my way to bed. The kids don’t need to see that. My colleagues don’t need to see that. The people I see in my apartment building hallway don’t need to see that. Just EW!

There were 4-6 colors on them so she could wear them with pink, blue, green, etc. She kept a beat up pair of tennis shoes under the drawer side of her desk and changed shoes at lunch to go walk/exercise

@ModestTeacher I have absolutely zero memory of anything any educator, kdg . to university, ever wore to work. The opinion isn’t unpopular just pointless.

My wife is in the middle of a Mexican standoff in the church nursery. Our two year old got mad and threw a cup of animal crackers on the floor. My wife refuses to leave until she picks them up. My daughter refuses to clean up until we promise her a cake pop and Bluey at home. My wife (former Marine) is the most stubborn mom on the planet. My daughter (personality of an ISIS prison guard) will happily scream for hours on end. I just dropped off a peppermint mocha for my wife. She’s digging in and playing the long game. Our pastor offered to broker a truce, but he left when the toddler hurled an elephant cookie at him, grumbling that our denomination doesn’t pay well enough to deal with situations like this (which is totally fair). Will keep everyone apprised. If there are any hostage negotiators here with experience defusing toddler meltdowns, please reach out.
