You think any other conference would have done differently? If you think the Big 12 is the only organization against sorsbys injunction you are mistaken. The tech Image is tarnished now whether the institution deserves it or not. They lost in the court of public opinion which is incredibly important in the valuation of athletic brand value in our current environment.

The Big 12’s court action left no choice. Even if this may be the cleanest end to the situation, you can bet Tech is already talking exit strategy from the Big 12. Ending the tortilla tradition and now this, they don’t have Tech’s back and they shouldn’t benefit from having us.

@AnythingArs_ Embarrassing for an Arsenal fan to write this while posting a picture of a stadium Stan Kroenke built all out of his own pocket. The stadiums are new because we replace the old ones. Also something an Arsenal fan should know about.

People praising American stadium while trashing England's should consider alot of things. Time which those stadiums were built should be considered. Most stadium in England are old stadium while one in America was built as early as 2000s. Most stadium in England are built by clubs while one in America are state owned, I know you can mark the different now!

😂 Texas Tech acting exactly like they always accused UT of acting. The difference though is UT is still 4-5x more valuable and can go anywhere they want. If techs big threat is they will leave, don't let the door hit you... I truly don't understand why Tech was so willing to trash their brand for an overpaid QB. This whole thing just negated all the great progress ya'll made over the last couple years with Cody's money.

Here’s a good idea, let’s alienate the one school that’s pushing the conference to greater heights and driving up revenue, it won’t bite us in the ass in 2030 at media rights negotiations when they decide they’re out.

This lawsuit basically is the Big 12's way to of tell everyone they won't be pushed around by Texas Tech. The Big 12 lists the Texas Tech Chancellor, President and athletic director as defendants.

Texas tech can support him all they like. No one wants to stop them. He can stay in school, keep his housing his NIL. No one cares. But he willfully broke a very clear rule and shouldn't be allowed to suit up. If your child willfully violated a long held rule thousands of times she should also face the penalties for those violations. This is pretty simple.

Sadly you are a liar. I have not only traveled the world and met countless Mormons, but allow countless into my home. I encourage them to come so I can witness to them. You carry it for show. You do not read it. You know little to nothing about the contents of the Bible and are constantly brainwashed into reading the Book of Mormon. It’s why I can always trip up any Mormon with regard to scripture. Any true Christian can.

About the absurd idea the Latter-Day Saints/Mormons are Christian: Army wife here. 21 moves in 32 years of my husband’s career. I am also former Roman Catholic until I married my husband 46 years ago. I will just name some of the churches in the U.S. and Europe that we attended and/or visited extensively: Catholic, Nazarene, Baptist, Pentecostal, Evangelical, Nondenominational, Army Chapel (which means essentially Protestant as the Catholics have their on on bases) etc. Not one ever had a Book of Mormon. Not one taught about Smith. They all taught about the Jesus Christ of the Bible and they all had a Bible, every single one, in every pew. In addition—in every single Christian bookstore all over the earth that I often frequented, not one single Book of Mormon is sold or any other LDS materials. Not one anywhere in America or Europe. LDS have to have their own Deseret bookstore because their church is not Christian. Their materials are not Christian. Catholics and Protestants are exceedingly different but we agree there is only One True God. LDS believe in countless gods and that they can become gods someday. Christians: monotheistic Mormons polytheistic Impossible to be a Christian faith. #LDS #JOSEPHSMITH #Mormon #Mormonism

The Mormon church is not fluid or flexible on anything you have mentioned. You can cite some fringe members that have created their own beliefs. That does not change the consistency in the doctrine. But yes, it's true protestants relegate the salvation of young children and baptism to tertiary issues as you have so clearly indicated because Jesus saying "suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of heaven" still isn't clear enough for them to reach a consensus.

Calling it false just because you can’t handle the implication doesn’t mean that it is. Many members privately (and increasingly publicly) disagree on major issues like the nature of God, Book of Mormon historicity, the priesthood ban, LGBTQ issues, and how to interpret Joseph Smith’s teachings. Protestants disagree on secondary or tertiary issues as I said. But on the core essentials of the gospel (who Jesus is, how salvation works, the authority of Scripture), there is broad agreement. That’s very different from Mormons disagreeing on the nature of God or the reliability of their foundational scriptures.

False. That's protestant fan fiction. Mormons have the most consistent teachings in the Christian world. You can step into any LDS church across the globe in any given Sunday and get the same lesson and doctrine. Your pastor will tell you otherwise because of some out of context quote he shared with you from the king follet sermon that he himself has never fully read. Meanwhile protestants can't even agree on if children that never learn of Christ are going to hell or not.

@RadDawg2 @RestoredTruth8 All I did was show you the ridiculous double standard you were applying. In fact, Mormons disagree on their basic theological issues while Christian disagreements are typically secondary or tertiary and not primary like Mormons.

@ElJefe53209440 @RestoredTruth8 Classic deflection. Modern "Christians" instantly switch to tired tropes because they can't defend their own faith without attacking Mormons. That is a gospel of hate and condemnation.

Is that why Mormons have to disregard prior church teachings and prophets, because they adhere to “the most correct book on earth” and their prophets speak from an ever changing god? Even with living prophets, continuing revelation, and the claim that the Church provides clarity and unity, modern Mormons disagree on several basic theological issues today.

@ElJefe53209440 @RestoredTruth8 "doctrinal consistency" is that what sola scriptura protestant denominations still can't even agree on core doctrines like baptism? Because the canon is so clear and consistent? 😂

That’s not how the canon works. God inspired the writings through prophets and apostles. The early church recognized them based on apostolic origin, doctrinal consistency, and broad acceptance. Scripture itself presents the revelation as complete in Christ and the apostles (see Jude 3 and Hebrews 1:1-2 for examples).

He actually gets to borrow against it which technically makes It liquid or at least a large percentage of it is ….also in the prospectus or disclosures or whatever it’s called he gets a trillion more or some crazy number if he gets a colony on mars ….which since that was disclosed he could also borrow money against that he’s got a ton of liquid capital to play with …buying everyone a happy meal would be stupid but he could probably buy 8 billion happy meals if he wanted to

I really don’t understand true greed. If I was worth $1 trillion, you’d have to physically stop me from solving as many of the world’s problems as possible. Everyone would have a home, food on the table, proper healthcare, happiness. I just don’t get it.

@ion_eyes So if I say Jesus prays to his own being, where is the error? Genuinely curious what the resolution to this is according to trinitarians.

Nearly every time I've asked LDS to explain to me what the doctrine of the Trinity is since they claim to deny it, they inevitably describe it as "Jesus prays to himself" or some other variation of Sabellianism/modalism (not the Trinity) Meanwhile, most Christians, while they can't explain all the intricacies of the Chalcedonian definition of the Trinity, can explain they worship only 1 God in 3 persons
Trevor Tomesh ☕@realDrTT

I propose that in order to be considered a Christian, you have to pass a theology test. Because half the people on here saying “Mormons aren't Christian” can't explain the trinity. And nearly every LDS member I've talked to can.

@Catholic_Bob Check out hymn 66 in our hymn book we sing it too! Hymn 209 is hark the herald angels sing. Great verse in that hymn says the following "...Glory to the newborn king!" So while you continue to think about how to dunk on Mormons, we will keep preaching the gospel.

Constantine declared that those refusing the council’s decisions would be exiled. He followed through by exiling Arius and the two bishops who would not sign the Nicene Creed. Eusebius of Nicomedia later wrote to Constantine: “We have committed an impious act, O Prince, by subscribing to a blasphemy from fear of you.” Historical accounts note this reflected pressure felt by some signatories after returning home, though nearly all 300+ bishops ultimately endorsed the creed.

Today I'm officially leaving the LDS Church. I just heard for the very first time about this super niche bible verse in Galatians that actually disproves the whole religion! I'd never even heard of "the bible" before. Glad we got that figured out. Anyway, see you at mass!
