Hey! @philthymag did this awesome piece about QUIET TIME, I.e. your favorite bubble grunge dad band. Check out our origin story: philthymag.com/quiet-time-you…
English

My band, QUIET TIME, just released our second single, “Scheherazade”! Listen to it wherever you stream music, or just listen to it here: open.spotify.com/track/6TElMtyC…

@UsernameDelete8 You’re right. The PPA has a huge opportunity to be an organization that’s primarily focused on, and known for, pedestrian safety. But they’re hyper-focused on the expired meters of suburban shoppers.
English

@DPearsonPHL @UsernameDelete8 Yeah I feel like I’ve read these sorts of statements before. It’s always interesting to see when pols tell you they don’t have the power to do something vs. when they come out swinging against something else that’s totally out of their orbit.
English

@RandyLoBasso @UsernameDelete8 Both Rebecca and Helen tried to come up with something nuanced and moderate here but we and a lot of other people wanted more fire and brimstone.
English

@Alain_Mower Haven’t been to a gym since before COVID, but I’ve seen a lot of stories recently about fitness influencers taking over their own space plus like 5 feet in front of them to film themselves.
English

@RandyLoBasso Depends on the gym but I’ve gone to a variety of gyms over the past decade and this has never been a problem for me.
The only problem I’ve had is just general business at peak times.
English

@KaraNextWeek 😂 are you mad at the groundhog or are you mad…at yourself?
English

@RandyLoBasso I personally expect ALL groundhogs to be better at weather prediction than humans with education, who can read and write and analyze trends.
English

@SnowtoriousCSL So much rage directed as Phil, yet it’s the people who put so much trust in the process.
English

@SpiritOfEnterpr @PhillyInquirer And they keep doing it because consequences are rare, even when exposed like this. As long as you can stomach the whole city knowing your corruption, you keep doing what you’re doing.
English

@RandyLoBasso @PhillyInquirer The amount of dumb/corrupt stuff people in city govt do to rub two pennies together is remarkable. Lots of dumb rat racing.
English

@jongeeting “We reached out to both sides: People who’ve done lots of research and people who haven’t.”
English

@RandyLoBasso kind of a neat hack by them to take advantage of modern journalism conventions
English

@jongeeting Any time NMA gets quoted as being against something, it means no one is actually against it. Just this one guy who calls himself an “association.”
English

@dmtrubman @DPearsonPHL I also assume certain lines’ ridership and decisions are bringing down the whole system’s numbers. I tried to take a RR train to Mt. Airy late last year and the train ended at North Philly where we had to switch to what became a very crowded bus. I won’t be taking that line again
English

@RandyLoBasso @DPearsonPHL In theory they're pretty close to pre-COVID peaks, but cancelations due to lack of operators is still a problem
English

@knowyouronions2 None taken! That is absolutely the correct term.
English

@DPearsonPHL It seems like it. I’m never on the platform for more than 5 minutes during rush hour.
English

@RandyLoBasso Are the trains back up to pre-pandemic frequency? I think that's a part of it.
