For most of the 1990s, lots of people openly opposed interracial relationships. For most of the 2000s, laptops were so heavy and underpowered that they were mostly not worth having. You only had desktops. And there's like 100 other examples in this genre that I could give.

@lxeagle17 That combined with the decision in the primary to do a limited access campaign. It just fed the perception that he's lost a step (or two!). That FDR got away with hiding his disability, plus mostly hid his 1944 decline, seems to be giving politicians the wrong idea.

One thing that doesn't help Cuomo at all (among the many, many things that play against him) is that he looks extremely old for his age. He's only 67, but looks far more diminished compared to his political peak in 2020.
