@GuyTalksFinance That is why it is important to know what you are buying. Another reason why most people should only buy good ETF’s. Commit to contributing a certain amount of money to it per month and forget it. Let the market do what it does
Friend of mine is worried about the stock market crashing and is considering selling all of his stocks.
Seems like a good time to remind everyone that despite all of the negative headlines:
The S&P 500 is only down -3% year to date. This is the time to be buying not selling.
@HaveRentMoney@SleeperHQ@grok Yes I watched the game. It was a very weird call, they called goal tending and gave him a technical. I’ve never seen anything like it before in my life lol
@Shibu_Thobs Joel Osteen refuses to call out sin and is only focused on “living your best life now”. Please don’t listen to him. Anyone that will not call out sin for what it is, should not be speaking from then pulpit.
The Cardinals are planning to pivot to Jimmy Garoppolo after missing out on Malik Willis, per @JFowlerESPN.
Arizona could now be looking at Jacoby Brissett vs. Jimmy G in a training camp battle for QB1.
@itsyeezyho Start with the Gospels, ( Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) Understanding who Jesus is and the message that he taught is the most important part of the Bible.
@ColesTrades I thought this way too when I was 20 because I thought I could out perform the market easily, I was very wrong. Sure I had 1 really good year, then I got killed. I hope you learn this lesson before you lose too much money! Best of luck to you tho!
I want to start BUDGETING my money
Right now, I just do everything in my head…
Estimating, guessing, and hoping it all works out. I realize that this will not be attainable when I have more responsibilities.
Now I just need a budgeting method that’s simple, realistic, and easy to stick to, creating less stress for the future.
What budgeting system do you use and does it actually work for you?
@GrindeOptions A stocks value is not based on the fundamentals of the company, but on the attractiveness to the investor. Some stocks may have strong numbers, but if it’s in a boring industry it will trade at a far less value than a sexy tech stock
Please be cautious putting single stocks inside your Roth IRA. I know it’s fun and everyone wants those potentially really high returns, but don’t mess around with your retirement account, invest safely in ETF’s. Use a brokerage for single stocks, but concentrate on your Roth!
It's established, low fees (~0.56%), and sitting on huge AUM. With AI demand only ramping up, this thing has serious upside potential over the next 5+ years.
nuclear is the reliable, clean beast that can deliver constant baseload energy without the carbon guilt. Tech giants are already locking in deals left and right.
NLR gives broad exposure: uranium miners + actual nuclear power producers + tech/infrastructure plays.
Just bought some $NLR (VanEck Uranium & Nuclear ETF) in my Roth for the long haul.
AI is eating insane amounts of power—data centers running 24/7, no breaks, powering everything from chatbots to massive models. Renewables are awesome but flaky without the sun/wind
@OMagicHQ Yeah he was limping pretty good so they took him out. It kinda looked like he collided knees with someone, but not sure. I don’t think it’s serious but I’m not a doctor
