Is there a reason eCommerce sites don't have a concept of order queuing? I imagine that customers would be fine with "Order queued for processing - we'll let you know if there's any options" As it is, it's all synchronous, so it's "SOMETHING WENT WRONG FILL IT ALL OUT AGAIN"
