The Bush tax cuts, their extensions, and the Trump tax cuts have added an estimated $10 trillion to the national debt since their enactment. Just imagine the good we could have done with that money if it hadn't been gifted to corporations and the wealthy.

By the way, a tax of up to 5% on the world’s multi-millionaires and billionaires could raise $1.7 trillion/year. That would be enough to lift 2 billion people out of poverty and fund a global plan to end hunger. We can't afford NOT to tax the rich.

In Hastings, Dominos is hiring delivery drivers starting at $20-$23/hour. But food service workers at Hastings Public Schools are being met with resistance for demanding an increase to their $13.85/hour starting pay. They deserve better.

Student debt can be crippling. Burdening young people for decades and limiting their career options. Nevertheless, Republicans are going all the way to the Supreme Court to stop student debt relief. They were happy to forgive business debt. But students? Not so much.
