One of my close friends has a sister with down syndrome and it ruined the life of the parents. Her mother never had the time to pursue a career, and her father had to work part-time before eventually retiring early because they needed to take care of her 24/7.

No, that’s a horrible idea! Choosing abstinence when you aren’t ready for a baby is the responsible decision. Abortion is a lazy irresponsible way of avoiding the consequences of your actions! It’s murder. If a pregnant woman is killed, the killer is charged with TWO counts of murder, the law DOES recognize it as a life. Feminism has reduced life to nothing. Sad

Choosing abortion when you’re not prepared or able to raise a child is one of the most responsible decisions a woman can make.

Unpopular opinion: If I knew my unborn child would have a severe disability that would require lifelong intensive care, I would seriously consider termination. Not because I don't value disabled people. Not because I lack compassion but because love alone doesn't provide specialized healthcare, financial resources, emotional resilience, or round-the-clock caregiving. Raising a child with profound disabilities can demand sacrifices that affect parents, siblings, and the child themselves. People should be allowed to have honest conversations about whether they are truly prepared for that responsibility without being shamed for it.
