@jen_keesmaat I am interested to know where you got these statistics because they don't represent my experiwnce with the TDSB. In addition if the provincial government lifted its moratorium on closing schools, boards would be able to realign and manage their facilities more efficiently.

Nearly 50% of schools in Toronto are below 50% capacity. School is open, classrooms are unused, locked. Yes you read that right. This is why we need more housing everywhere - our historic approach of Tall and Sprawl means crowding in some areas while there is capacity in others.

@jen_keesmaat Hi Jennifer, I understand your view, one thing I haven't heard you address is schools. I find that schools are jammed with students and we are more worried about adding houses than what are the implications on school and services in general. Cold you share something on that?

Folks can make 10s or even 100s of thousands in rent payments on time, no issues.
And then be told they can't qualify for a mortgage with a LOWER monthly payment.
The system is rigged. It's predatory. And it needs to change.
