Paying a penny! These lucky Home Depot shoppers got an item for 1 penny ($0.01). The police were called for theft because Home Depot is saying it was an error and the customers were trying to leave. But where did they break any laws they paid? If it rings up that way, don’t they have to honor it?!

@juggawest @Rocket__Mac @SusieM414141 It’s not a clearance item. It’s mispriced. It’s Home Depot’s fault but that’s why the employee is there to say it’s not for sale. They are circumventing that by avoiding them knowing that it’s unintended for sale. Knowing that and doing it anyway is underhanded.

@MichBushi @AmericanAmy1 @SusieM414141 They didn’t have it marked as one cent. It just rings up that way because the item was removed from inventory. The price on the shelf would be the correct price. But these shoppers have a network that tracks items like this.

Imagine otherwise, they could be posting fake prices and marking everything up at the till, and "oh it was a clerical error" it all the way.

NEW: San Francisco police trap 85 bicyclists on an offramp who were seen taking over the road, swerving around cars, & riding the wrong direction. The bike gang tried turning around after they were blocked on the ramp by SFPD & CHP, but quickly realized they were trapped. All of the bikes were confiscated. This is amazing.
