Newcastle’s season is over and all that is left is to search through the wreckage for survivors. The manager will take the blame but I hope he survives. He deserve to but there were several players out there today who should hang their heads in shame. Some are cowards, some aren’t good enough and others clearly don’t want to be there anymore #nufc

@RperrinUk What’s nonsense is ignoring the details… How many windows did the club not back Howe? The majority of the money spent wasn’t Howe. How much was spent just to make the club competitive in the league? Most of the money spent was well spent. Etc.

The Eddie Howe Out crew is failing to understand that the standard they are using to judge him is the standard that he himself set. He didn’t step into a club already qualifying for the CL and making cup finals. He’s worked miracles and got the club to a place we could only dream of. We all agree this season has been a disappointment, but to sack a manager capable of achieving what he has would be foolish after one bad season. He has earned the opportunity to turn things around. #NUFC
