This seems like a pretty poor way to people who aren't just fans, but paying consumers.
This is MLB's deal and handling. The Mariners know how big this season is and they don't want this situation. They would've preferred to have the information out there weeks ago for fans to make choices.

Already with the heartwarming story of the year: 11-year-old Brody, a cancer survivor now cancer-free, tripped on first base and slowly got up and hobbled to second, where he was met by a family member and helped all the way home. Incredible spirit, Brody!! #Mariners Make-a-Wish
