Struggle, overcome, period of prosperity, time goes on with no conflict, complacency, degradation, and then when it's too late, conflict that creates Struggle
@investwithintel 20k shares, today was great. IMO the beginning of a bigger move, especially if Iran wraps up and they release news over the next 1-2 months. $8-10 could come as quick as $4 did
The market doesn't reflect the present.
The market doesn't represent Oil prices.
The market does not represent the Economy.
The market represents the dynamic odds of the most probable future.
It shows you when times can't get worse, not when they get better or are good.
It moves towards what seems least logical because common knowledge is in the price.
That is why contrarian takes within a bigger trend following approach are so powerful. Plenty of time from denial to acceptance to capitulation to pyramid.
@DaniCaps4 Imo, don’t look for big outlier days, instead scale what you are doing exactly the same but with size and compound the current equity curve that is working
Que consejo dariais a un trader que tiene una curva extremadamente consistente pero busca tener dias outliers positivos y swings algo mas fuertes. Realmente me gustaria escuchar puntos de vista mas haya de simplemente seguir subiendo size
@ick_real There is no secret, if it was easy, everyone would be doing it. Grind it out and get it done. How you’ll be feeling after doing this for a few weeks is well worth it
‘PROJECT HAIL MARY’ has earned $33.1M in the film's domestic opening day.
Biggest domestic opening day ever for any non-franchise film.

It took me 8 years of overthinking, burnout, and self-judgment to realize what I’m about to tell you in 2 minutes.
This is how neurodivergent minds - the anxious, the hyper-focused, the “too intense” ones - were never broken:
A small YouTuber made a video titled ‘MrBeast is Boring Now’
In 2 days of the video being up, MrBeast wrote this comment
The biggest YouTuber in the world, and he’s down to brainstorm with a YouTuber who just hit 1K
Plus they already hopped on calls together
Love to see it
$SNAP has an unusually dense near-term catalyst stack.
Perplexity partnership update. Specs external funding. Spiegel’s unnamed strategic initiative from TBPN. Operational restructuring. M&A speculation.
Any single one reprices the stock. The market is pricing in none of them.
There is a reason why my entire trading system revolves around one simple idea:
Tension → Release.
Think of it like a coil.
When a stock compresses into a tight range with declining volume, it’s building energy (tension). Supply gets absorbed, volatility contracts, and eventually, that tension between buyers and sellers results in expansion.
That’s the move I'm trying to position for!
A visual from @jfsrev that I think is helpful:

The mistake I see a lot of traders make is spending most of their time focused on loose price action, chasing stocks after they’ve already moved, or trading messy charts where the risk isn’t clearly defined.
But the real opportunity usually exists before the move, inside those tight areas where price has been compressing.
That’s where asymmetric risk exists.
This past week alone gave multiple examples:
$RKLB
$ASTS
$PLTR
$SEI
$IOT
Different sectors, different narratives, but the same core principle:
Tightness followed by expansion.

As a swing trader... How many more examples do we need before we stop focusing on loose PA and start focusing on the compressed areas where the move actually begins?
Because once I started training my eye to recognize those areas of tension, the market started to look very different.
There’s an old saying...
“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.”
I burned this image in my head:
70% of comments and DMs i got on first two days of conflict was "this is all priced in energy and equities".
Its difficult to explain how absurd that is.
It's 2032

“Cheap” is not a reason to buy. $DUOL is a good example.
I’d rather enter late at the start of a clear bull cycle than nail the exact bottom.
Once we get confirmation of a true bottom, then I’ll look to go long.
@J_Pugh_13@dougboneparth As I have stated many times now, retail investors should stay far away from every investment I make from now on. Forever.
You do you.
I only want to work with institutions and other family offices and SWFs.
Why is everyone so mad at Chamath? All he did was lose billions in retail investors’ money by promoting one-pager SPACs. It’s not like he then told them to enjoy their capital losses or anything. Give the man a break.
Software is *very* oversold and likely bottoming $IGV
Our portfolio has exposure to quality software stocks which have been unfairly caught in the selloff and appear poised for a multi-month run. alphatarget.com
