The rain is back and so is the sewage.
- 71% of the Earth is covered in water
- The human body is roughly 60% water
- Humans can survive mere days without water
Why have we sold the most vital resource on the planet to be abused like this for profit?

"Water companies hide true scale of sewage spills"
We don't know the half of it.
Water companies are permitted to pollute and obscure the truth, knowing that if they do get caught the punishment will barely dent the profits generated.

Well let's name them, it's @SouthernWater.
They've instructed bailiffs 38,000+ times against struggling customers over a 5 year period.
All while hiking bills, paying dividends and pouring sewage into our water.
They are reprehensible and should have their license revoked.

These people fail the public and then think they can avoid being held to account by seeking a court injunction against the Regulator.
South East Water don’t want transparency because they cannot justify their own incompetence.

South Harting is a village in West Sussex with 2 churches,a primary school, a pub and the longest ongoing sewage release from @SouthernWater. For 657 hours (Feb 1st), sewage has poured into the Harting Stream, a chalk stream system that flows into the heart of the village.
