I find that hard to believe. I just ran through RE on PS1 with Jill for the first time a couple weeks ago, and I had a few moments where I went "I don't have enough ammo to kill these things and be prepared for what comes next... better avoid them". Same thing happened with Chris almost immediately when I started. Had to pick and choose which zombies to kill when I don't know where all the ammo is. Maybe this is more of a thing in RE3 and Code Veronica?

I've played RE games *a lot* throughout my life and one of the strangest misconceptions about 'survival horror' is that "ammo should be scarce" what part of old survival horror games ever signaled that? it wasn't silent hill it wasn't resident evil where did it come from?

@alaskorly Like hell, I've been flush with ammo and low on health items cause I kept trying to avoid fights.

@alaskorly Is this your first time playing Resident Evil? Cause otherwise... I'd assume you're just good at avoiding enemies. Most people on their first time kill everything. Leading to having less ammo to spare.

@sklorbit @kirayhf Tank controls may still be on, they're likely just using the stick. There's a setting where you can have both with tank being for the D pad.

You know, this is the biggest problem with black communities. Y'all will defend your own EVEN WHEN they are clearly in the wrong. Ingroup preference is destroying your communities reliability to be unbiased. Crime rates from black people says more than either of us could. It's a real problem, and police/courts are apparently not enough to combat this, cause they just release them and they go right back to committing these crimes. If you can't acknowledge that as the serious issue it really is, and are willing to blame people for taking measures into their own hands, then there isn't really much anyone can say to you. It's not worth it. Fucking look at this guys homeboy trying to square up on two people. He was clearly also involved in this, and if they hadn't sprayed him, he would've attacked them.

@26ers_bp115 Nah, that’s not nice at all, that’s straight up going way too far. Stopping a shoplifter is one thing, but beating someone like that? That’s how things turn into serious charges real quick. Nobody wins there.

Playing bad games helps you realize what actually makes a game good or bad. You could play a game that is overall bad, but has a few things in it that are good. Just not good enough to overshadow the bad. It's hard to have that kind of frame of reference when you only play bangers.

This is what I was talking about the strat of using two stylus in Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 if you wanted an XS rank in the hardest surgery cases. That game was a workout for your fingers
