@RealDonKeith actually the person here is a registered fire arm holder, in Australia you can have a gun if you have a lawful reason. If there were no gun control laws the attackers could have had a automatic rifle which would have resulted in more fatalities.

Australia took away its citizens’ guns, but 10 people at Bondi Beach are dead anyway because terrorists don’t care about gun laws. The only thing the Australian government did was make sure its unarmed, law-abiding, citizens are now sitting ducks, unable to defend themselves.

While this is good in principle, this has essentially eliminated a big source of funding for a lot of teams, especially smaller ones that don't benefit from BLAST and ESL's loyalty programs. It's hard enough for small teams to sustain themselves if they don't qualify for the major - this is only making things worse.
