By allowing him to be unsupervised with a girl at such a young age, you set him up to fail. He is entirely too immature for the situation you allowed him to be in. Horrible parenting from the beginning. 13 year-olds should not be put into romantic one-on-one situations. Supervised group activities only. If I was the girl's parent, I wouldn't let her around your son or in a situation where you were the only supervising adult ever again. Huge fail. And posting publicly that your son hit a girl, even anonymously, is a gross breach of privacy for him. That kinda stuff follows people. Why would you risk that?

I'm a mom to a 13 year old boy, and I'm still in shock over what he did. He's been seeing a girl from his class for a few months, and yesterday she came to our house. While I was downstairs cooking dinner, I suddenly heard crying and rushed upstairs. I found his girlfriend in tears, covering her face. When I asked what was wrong, my son said she ruined his video game. Then I asked her what happened, and she said my son had slapped her. I was really upset but knew hitting back wasn't the solution. So, I took the girl to the kitchen to help her calm down. When her mom came to pick her up, I apologized for my son's behavior and suggested they take some time apart for now…

Perhaps the worst part of gender ideology is that it teaches its adherents that any cruelty is justified in the name of one’s sacred new identity. One of my friends is also friends with a trans-identifying woman who had a daughter a few months before she began her transition. The daughter has been told all her life that she was adopted by her “two dads.” Well, she’s 8 or 9 now, and asks about her mom all the time — but her parents are continuing to lie to her. I don’t have kids, but I still can’t imagine looking my crying child in the face and denying that I am her mother. The daughter even saw a pre-transition picture and asked if that was her mom. I do not understand how this fails to qualify as child abuse.

Breakfast is weird. I often eat hummus for breakfast, as do many people around the world, but people tell me that's weird. OK, it's probably not all that usual for people in my country, but what are the rules? A bacon sandwich is OK, but a ham sandwich is not. Leftover pizza is acceptable, but a freshly cooked pizza isn't. Rice Krispies in, rice pudding out. What are the rules????

@merrydevo I have a full-time remote job as a Network Engineer. I have custody of my 5yo grandson and I “watch” him during the day except for the 2.5 hours he is at preschool. It is a living hell! Our house looks like Lord of the Flies and I’m about to get fired for not being productive.

Dumbest thing I see all the time is “women could get remote jobs and not even put their kids in daycare but they just don’t want to raise them!” most jobs require dedicated childcare, remote jobs are scarce, and running an Etsy store when your kids are napping isn’t a remote job
