I have a habit of stopping by airport chapels when I have the time. Most of them have closed down in the US in major airports, but DFW reopened theirs and they’re basically mosques. I had a very uncomfortable experience praying in the chapel on Palm Sunday, but I refused to leave while the Muslims were being so nasty. I refused to leave what is meant to be a temple of the Lord, especially on Palm Sunday. I had a long layover so I waited them out. One man grew frustrated after about 30 minutes and left, but not before others came in. They were clearly having conversations about me in Arabic. They weren’t being shy about letting me know they were talking about me. But I sat and prayed and read the Bible and I did not leave until the last Muslim had cleared out. It was actually a very scary experience given how isolated the chapel was, but I think we need to start staking ground.

@ChrisStefanick The congregation used to say those words as part of the crowd. Now the parts are read by "readers", except for those of Our Lord. We NEED to say those awful words as a community, not hear them as an audience.

Every person who nailed Jesus to the cross thought they were a pretty good person. The soldiers? Just doing their job. The Pharisees? Protecting the system. Pontius Pilate? Just trying to keep his career on track. They all gave themselves a free pass. And we do the exact same thing. Because when you see how ugly sin really is, you finally see how far God was willing to go for you. You couldn't pay the price for a single sin. He paid it all. As you enter into Holy Week, stop giving yourself free passes. Look your sin in the face. Take it to confession. And then look at the cross and say thank you. I'll be praying for you.

Where we are at. Its a 2-part Problem: 1. @LeaderJohnThune would rather LOSE the Majority to the Dems - than Nuke the Filibuster and twist enough arms to pass the SAVE America Act and the other America First legislation being buried in the Senate. 2. The rest of the GOP Senators would rather LOSE the Majority to the Dems - than challenge John Thune and his boss, Turnip McTurtle.

Here's a little number I like to call "FUCK BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN." Springsteen said Trump is the "living personification of what the 25th Amendment and impeachment were for," and suggested he should be consigned to the "trash heap of history." Seriously? Because from where I'm sitting, 25A was SPECIFICALLY designed to keep people with ADVANCED ALZHEIMER'S from taking power. It was made for people who forget where they are. People who freeze up at White House events on camera. People who stumble and stammer through basic sentences. People who can’t find their way off the stage. People who trip over sandbags. People who fall repeatedly up the steps of Air Force One. PEOPLE WHO MELT DOWN DURING THE MOST CRUCIAL DEBATE OF THEIR CAMPAIGN. In other words, the 25th Amendment was specifically designed to keep AMERICA from having a president as INCAPACITATED as JOE BIDEN was. But where the hell was Brucey when that walking disaster was in the Oval Office? Where was his righteous outrage when Biden was slurring through speeches? Where was his “trash heap of history” talk when the country was being run by a man who couldn’t even make it through a speech without babbling? Nowhere. This fake-ass “working class hero” watched an obviously senile president destroy the country for four years and said NOTHING. But the second Trump wins, suddenly he’s clutching his pearls and screaming about tyranny and the 25th Amendment. What a pathetic, hypocritical has-been. "Hey Bruce, why don't you set THESE lyrics to music, you anti-American asshole."
