I like playing video games, creating things, and sometimes post thoughts that I delusionally think are deep and philosophical.

@thebeautyofsaas I feel like this is one of those situations where when Elon does it, it's looked at as a genius thing, but if a normal person does it, they are seen as crazy 😂

@DramaAlert Endlessly lying slop accounts like this need real financial penalties @elonmusk - e.g. if a user w/ >50k followers gets 3 community notes, they lose all payouts for that month. There needs to be new stick incentives otherwise this platform is fried.

Unpopular opinion: The $110,000/yr salaried worker with a good 9–5 job is better off than the 70 hour per week business owner barely earning $65,000/yr. And it’s not even close.

NASA is advancing nuclear power and propulsion in space to accomplish President Trump’s national space objectives. With SR-1 Freedom, launching in 2028, we will demonstrate nuclear electric propulsion and deliver SkyFall helicopters to Mars. In collaboration with @Energy, these capabilities are key to future missions to Mars and beyond. A new chapter of deep space exploration begins. 🚀

This game is the most insane emotional rollercoaster. Promo videos showing the most amazing tech, the most amazing worlds, the most immersive gameplay mechanics, etc. Then you just constantly hear why a feature is getting delayed again and again. Performance always sucks and the excuses are always "When server meshing is implemented it'll be better", then server meshing is implemented and there's no noticeable improvement. There are so many bugs in the game that disrupt the immersion repeatedly, and the bugs are never fixed. Devs are always prioritizing PVP over PVE. They introduced a new research-based mission, everyone was excited for an actual PVE gameplay loop. Nope! PVP focused. They intentionally nerf really fun gameplay loops like mining and salvage so you can't realistically buy a ship in game. Used to be able to fill up a caterpillar in one outing. Not anymore. Why? They are pushing you to pay hundreds of dollars on just buying the ship with real money instead of aUEC. People say it'll get better when SQ42 is released and those devs can work on SC. Where's SQ42? It was feature complete almost 3 years ago now? Maybe more? CIG gave the excuse they didn't want to compete with GTA 6. Well guess what. GTA 6 got delayed. Why no release? And then you see another beautiful promo video they put out and fall in love again. Only to be hurt again.

Does anyone actually play Star Citizen? Has it delivered anything or did it just eat up $950M of naive gamers money since 2012? Is it actually a game? Is it even in "beta" yet after 14 years of development?

@PeterDiamandis When your success in your job is determined purely by the number of publications your name is on, you're going to do research that's quick and easy to get through the publishing system, which would be the least disruptive ideas. Indeed very broken.

The science funding system is BROKEN. PhDs and professors are spending their days writing grant proposals rather than conducting research that could transform millions of lives. And the worst part? The system REWARDS predictable, safe, incremental science. It PUNISHES radical ideas and moonshots.

the absolute biggest challenge for humanity over the next 2-3 generations, to prevent complete annihilation of the human race, is to offer a vision for the world more incentivizing than just laying in your bed staring at your phone. and we're currently failing at it.

Nobody is forcing anyone to be online. Nobody is forcing anyone to doom scroll all the news throughout the day. Nobody is forcing anyone to check their phone in the morning. Nobody is forcing anyone to enable notifications for all these things on your phone. Stop using it as an excuse. It's your choice to do these things.

older generations had something we will never get back. time. bad news traveled slow. by the time fear reached you half the problems had already resolved themselves. the world was heavy but it moved at a human pace. they had places to disappear to. a corner of the world where nothing could reach them. we have wars updating in real time. ai reshaping everything faster than we can process it. notifications that make sure global anxiety lands in your pocket before your morning coffee. there is nowhere to go anymore. every corner of the world is connected to every problem in the world. and we are expected to just carry it all and function normally.

We're at a point in history—not nearing it, but here—where you have to decide if you're content to ruin your brain with an endless stream of fentanyl-like digital slop or if you're going to fight for your humanity, touch grass, challenge yourself, create, contribute, and love.

Yesterday this application didn’t exist. Today it does. This was 100% vibe-coded. I didn’t write or edit a single line of code. Before you watch the video, here’s what you’re about to see. Nothing is sped up. The app is genuinely this fast. It pulls real-time traffic data for 30 U.S. cities using the HERE API and maps it on a Mapbox map. The "jam factor" is calculated live and displayed in the "jam bars" and directly on the map. Then I add five more cities. Each time, the data is instantly added, the bars automatically re-sort, and new points appear on the map. Across the top, BANs show the average jam factor, the most congested city, the least congested city, and the last update time. All updating dynamically. Then I pick the custom colors based on the jam factor, customize the color ramp scale, and even modify the bounding box (the area used to calculate traffic conditions) from rural to dense urban settings, or manually define the geography. How is this done? Knowing what to ask for and iterating with GenAI. I started building this app while I was grading assignments, and just checking back in on the progress! From zero to a real-time, interactive, API-powered dashboard. That’s where we are. Insights this morning: Indianapolis had a number of car accidents slowing down traffic, briefly popping it to the top of the list over NYC. But at the moment Miami, FL has the heaviest traffic.

Are you implying that you want these few people with "better resources" than most of the public to take time out of their day to investigate Jason purely due to your personal hatred towards him? This literally sounds like "everyone I don't like went to Epstein's island". Such a childish path to go down. I don't care for Jason either, but jesus, this is such a stretch not worth losing credibility over.

Hey Kevin, I appreciate that you don't have anything to work with other than a single heavily redacted dump from the government, but some people have better resources and connections than you do. Also, your report ignores that Jason himself has admitted to meeting with Epstein, insisting otherwise as if the only source that matters is this post-redaction email database. As a result, it is worse than useless.

Huge respect for everything you have achieved and are doing @PalmerLuckey. But I searched all 1,386,322 documents in the DOJ Epstein release for any evidence that @Jason visited Epstein's island. I found: 0 flight log entries 0 visitor records 0 property visits 0 recovered redactions 0 confirmed meetings What is there: he was on John Brockman's Edge Foundation mailing list (alongside Bezos, Brin, Gates, Musk, and Zuckerberg), passed along a Bitcoin developer's contact info once at Brockman's request, and got his coffee invite to Paris declined. Every claim is verifiable at justice.gov. Full 10-page report with every document cited attached: drive.google.com/file/d/1OecVXk… @DavidSacks
Palmer Luckey@PalmerLuckey

Let's raise the stakes and go All-in. If Jason lied about visiting the island, he resigns from the podcast. If not, I move on and never again bring up his name, words, or deeds.
