Accor fast-track to Platinum through Navan finally worked. It should have been easy ... But Navan ensured that it feels like proper hard work. Now just 3 nights away from Platinum! That will require mattress runs ... No other way to it! Will try to put a detailed post on this.

@SidLLC @ankurmittal I did that it was activated within 2 hrs. However, Navan site is full of errors. Adding a guest for enabling an employee is a nightmare.

To Reach Accor Platinum, here are the steps 1) Signup for All Accor+ Explorer and get Gold status 2) Signup for the following fast track- all.accor.com/a/en/offers/AL… 3) Open an account with navan.com (GST Number is required) and book a night via it. You can also use your Accor points for payment. If you don't have a GST number ask your friend to signup and book for you. Guest Booking can be done. (Initially 15 status nights would be credited. Contact Accor and they would credit 5 more) 4) Stay 9 more nights on pts/revenue. In total you would have 60 status nights and your account would be upgraded to Platinum. Only subscriptions can't be stacked. We can earn 20 status nights via Fast Track over and above 30 status nights from All Explorer+ membership.

Over the weekend I have been deep into planning my next set of trips, a mix of work and pleasure, solo and family, all spread across the next four months. It will not be one long stretch, more like multiple hops and back. The countries lined up are Taiwan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Timor Leste, Palau, Guam, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Philippines, Australia and Tuvalu. Most flights and hotels are sorted and I am already down about 4.8 lakh miles and points plus around 1.5 lakh in cash. It is never as simple as just Accor, Marriott or Avios. My IDFC Mayura points and ICICI points played a huge role in covering revenue fares too. The tricky one is Tuvalu. Fiji Airways is the only carrier flying to Funafuti and even though it is a oneworld partner, there is zero availability on Avios and Qantas. Only AA and Alaska show seats. Revenue return is around 70k. Last hope is calling Qatar to check if they can see hidden space, otherwise Alaska it is. The next four months are going to be seriously packed 😁😁

Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund is now 1,25,000 Crores+ AUM scheme. The largest mid-cap has 90,000 crores capitalisation and largest small cap has 30,000 crores capitalisation. Even if the fund wants to invest 1% of AUM in a mid cap, they need to pickup more than 1.35% of the company and if they want to invest 1% in any small cap, they need to pick up more than 4% of company. Effectively, it is now a large cap scheme.
