Inter-rater variability for the American Society of Anesthesiologists classification in patients undergoing hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery (MILESTONE-2): international survey among surgeons and anaesthesiologists ➡️doi.org/10.1093/bjsope… This is an international survey and case-vignette study including 1283 participants from 55 countries. Interrater variability regarding the ASA classification in patients undergoing HPB surgery was observed, which may impact perioperative strategy. Additional guidance to classify patients according to ASA is urgently needed.
