In a multicenter RCT, lap distal pancreatectomy (LDP) for left-sided pancreatic cancer showed similar recurrence-free survival, R0 resection rates, and lymph-node yield compared with open surgery- supporting LDP as a safe, oncologically equivalent option. journals.lww.com/annalsofsurger…
