@headspawn @BenThePCGuy Tasers can fail. Clothing or fat can cause the prongs to not connect. If the prongs aren’t within a certain distance they can fail. And drugs and mental health can let some people power thru a taser. Tasers also have limited amount of tries. Mace can also be powered thru.

@BenThePCGuy I dunno, I have none of that training but I'm pretty sure a squirt of mace and a taser would do the trick. They also have nonlethal rounds they like to shoot at protesters all the time, so that's another option. Surely you can get more creative than 'shoot em'?

I have been teaching self defense for over 20 years. I’m highly trained in Krav Maga, which I’d argue has the best defensive techniques against armed assault of any style. Taking down a knife wielding assailant is EXTREMELY difficult and dangerous. You will get cut, bad, even in the best of scenarios. This is not the movies. A knife is a deadly weapon and he was attacking to kill. Shoot the guy.

Does NYPD know how to disarm people without going straight to lethal force? Follow-up question: Has anyone else noticed that NYPD consistently reacts to a person with a knife by shooting them??

@YourKingIsJesus @RheinAmacher No it just has to be a valid representative who has the authority to request trespass. Nothing in the law REQUIRES a manager to for the order. Just someone who has the legal right to do it. A senior employee (even if they don’t have the title of manager) can make that decision.

@Dangarza12 @CollinRugg Bondi has been HORRIBLE as AG. She’s gotten little to nothing done, created horrible PR with her handling of the Epstein files, hasn’t moved forward with any serious litigation. AG needs to be aggressive and show no mercy. She has NOT proven she is a good AG.

BREAKING: Pam Bondi has been fired as attorney general, according to Fox News. EPA Director Lee Zeldin is reportedly under consideration to replace her. According to Fox, President Trump met in the Oval Office with Bondi before his speech last night. "One of those sources said that by the time Trump took his place behind the podium for the address, Bondi had already lost her job and was on her way back to Florida," Fox News reported. Bondi's firing comes after she was heavily criticized for the handling of the Epstein files.

@JimMcCaslin23 @HazelAppleyard Notice he hasn’t talked to his friends and made a public apology. He’s trying to get everything, his friends thinking he’s cool for badmouthing his wife’s cooking and his wife still cooking for him. He can either publicly apologize in front of his friends or deal with it.

@MGIdeafix6 @DanielMKishi Sharpie has actually extended their product line a whole bunch. They have paint markers, new types of gel pens, chalk markers, and more. The S-Gel pens write really well. I had to keep an eye on them at work so they wouldn’t get stolen.

Sharpie deserves the publicity. It invested in robots and workforce training that led to average wage increases of 50% with no headcount reduction, while also increasing production speed by 3-4x, boosting quality, and not raising prices. wsj.com/business/sharp…

@GRComdtJay @PGR_GLOBAL Nirvatia is going to be free through the Service Shop AND her relationship story line kind of like how you got Dante free from the DMC collab. @madbaldscotsman @Salamerh1 It’s a trick to avoid being flagged for copyright. The system scans for the original scenes so flipping them is a quick way to avoid automatic flagging. It’s also why they sometimes put the AI voice over a clip to avoid the audio being flagged.

@AngelMD1103 Extensions are extremely pricey and come in different price ranges depending on the quality. They would have told them the price of the extensions alone (which is probably 1/2 to 2/3 of the cost).

A young woman walked into a high-end beauty salon for a full transformation, extensions, color, styling, the works. Hours later, she admired the final look, only to freeze when the total came out to $800. She searched her phone, her purse, her bank app, and realized she didn’t have the money to cover it. An argument broke out. The salon owner, furious, refused to let her leave and insisted she stay until the bill was paid. The young woman called her mother for help. When her mom arrived and heard the amount, she shocked everyone by saying, “If she can’t pay, call the police.” This situation shows how quickly poor planning can spiral into public conflict. Businesses deserve payment for their work, but physically detaining someone can create legal risks too. Clear pricing, upfront deposits, and personal responsibility could have prevented the entire scene. If someone knowingly receives a service without the ability to pay, is detaining them justified, or should it immediately become a legal matter?

In Las Vegas, police were investigating the death of a two-year-old boy. Detectives say the mother’s boyfriend eventually confessed to beating the child, breaking down in tears during questioning and appearing overwhelmed with remorse. As investigators tried to calm him, a female detective stepped closer to speak with him. In a sudden and shocking moment, he lunged and managed to grab her weapon, escalating an already horrific case into an even more dangerous situation inside the interview room. The tragedy here is first and foremost the loss of a child. But it also highlights how unpredictable and manipulative some individuals can be. Emotional displays don’t always equal genuine remorse, and safety procedures exist for a reason. How should law enforcement balance empathy during interrogations with strict safety protocols, especially when dealing with violent suspects?

@Dave_Sheraton @Raych_82 @SooooFuct @TonyLaneNV But there are several dog parks that allow dogs off leash. If this was a friendly dog going up to the leashed dog then the leashed dog and its owner are at fault. If a dog is aggressive around other dogs, you don’t take them to a park where off leash socializing is encouraged.

@Raych_82 @SooooFuct @TonyLaneNV Doesn’t matter. Law states the dogs need to be leashed. Liability 1000% falls on the dog owner failing to leash their animal.

🚨 Dog park chaos. Two dogs start fighting… and suddenly it turns into a debate between the owners. One guy says, “Your dog should’ve been on a leash.” But isn’t the whole point of a dog park to let them run free? So what’s the rule - leash up for safety or let them roam like it’s meant for? Where do you stand? 🐶 ⬇️ 🇺🇸

And the family admits he was shooting in the air!
