213 yards remaining on a par 4. Dead straight, but 200 yard directional stick is 13 yards in front of you. Would it distract you? Would it concern you that you could hit a laser and deflect off the stick? Or would you remove the stick before hitting? Or is this too much thought?

I’m a total non-golf fan, but I have a possibly naive question for golf people: why hasn’t team golf ever caught on? I feel like a team having specialists to drive and putt and chip could be pretty interesting. Explain to me why I’m wrong, I genuinely know nothing here.
